currently you were laying on your bed a in a fetal position, your bedroom was pretty much pure darkness; except from the light coming from your windows, shining through the blackout curtains.
it was that raining slightly outside, even though it was bright out and the clouds were barely even gray, the rain still managed to come through.
the pain in your back and lower torso was absolutely killing you, the pain was spreading into your legs, you were barely able to walk at the moment.
unfortunately, you had to cancel your date with your boyfriend, he was understanding but there was still guilt lurking at the back of your mind. you knew he was looking forward to it as much as you were; however you physically were unable to get out of bed.
you had told him to not worry, but secretly you were hoping he would come to comfort you.
you were home alone, and had no one to help you. right now, you were alone. on your own if you will.
you heard the front door open, you were purely confused. your guardian(s)/parent(s) were at work, and they weren't supposed to come home anytime soon. you became panicking taking in the idea someone had broken in.
your door had suddenly opened, you hid under the covers instinctively and because of the fear you were experiencing.
"are you that unhappy to see me?" you heard your boyfriend speak up.
you uncovered yourself, "tommy??"
"hi there, my love." he spoke back to you, smiling.
he walked towards you with a heating pad, some soup, some medicine.
"why are you here?" you asked him.
"well, i was worried about you, even though you said not to worry." he had sat down next to you, "and i wanted to be there for you when you're in pain." he said scratching the back of his neck.
you had smiled at him, "thank you, darling. i appreciate it."
you went in for a hug, and he immediately hugged you back.
"okay, okay now please eat and take some medicine."
he had sat there next to you while you ate, his hand on your lower thigh, rubbing his thumb slightly to comfort you.
you had just taken some medicine, you laid down after putting down your soup bowl on the nightstand next to your bed.
you looked over to him, "lay down with me please."
"alright, love."
you guys had laid down face-to-face, "thank you for this, ykno?"
"anything for you, my dear"
you smiled at him, and hugged into him, digging your head into his neck.
he was rubbing your back, and his other hand rubbing your thigh to help the pain and aches in your lower body.
you both eventually fell asleep, listening to the soothing heartbeats and the smooth breathing of eachtoher.
he was really the best boyfriend you could've asked for.
