Names are pretty important especially for us pirates so I decided to look up what Kid’s name breaks down to. The prefix “Eu-” means “true” or “good”. So from that, I conclude that his name means “good ass”.

But instead, perhaps in some fit of determination to absolutely refuse to leave him be, she had boarded his vessel after him and followed him all the way to his own quarters—and it was then that she had realized that she’d done the opposite of what she’d intended. It was raining now and she had a large aversion to rain, so as of now, she wasn’t going back out unless she was forcibly removed. It could wait until the rain let up.]

Younger by one year I think. I don’t really care about why he came back, or what sentimental bullshit is going on with him and his brother. Just the idea that somebody can come back and act as though nothings wrong.
