Oof this reminded me of what the impressionists did:

you’re supposed to place two colours in close proximity- you’re not blending them on the palette, you’re not blending them on the canvas- you’re just putting them close enough for your eyes to perceive a third colour

Here, blue & red circles are placed in close proximity & thus, if you scroll through it really fast, the two- the principal of simultaneous contrast-makes you see purple!

This not only makes the desired colour, but also makes your art more vivid!
