Summary: One last night at Hogwarts before Christmas break turns into a castle wide game of hide and seek. Sebastian Sallow is “it,” and MC is determined not to be caught. Sebastian, naturally, has other plans.
The full moon drifted between silver clouds above a snow blanketed Hogwarts. Frosted windows illuminated by a warm glow welcomed the group of friends back from their evening in Hogsmeade.
Natty and Poppy walked arm in arm with MC at the front of the group, their laughter echoing across the snowy path. A few paces behind, Sebastian, Ominis, and Garreth followed at a more leisurely pace, lobbing each other with the occasional snowball.
By morning, the Hogwarts Express would carry them all home for Christmas, bringing another term to a close. The group shed their cloaks in an entry hall and stomped the snow off their shoes.
“So I guess this is it?” Garreth shrugged.
“Off to fold my socks, I suppose,” MC murmured.
A collective groan followed.
“We could stay up a while longer.” Poppy glanced around the sleeping castle.
“And do what?” Sebastian asked.
“Truth or Dare!” Natty exclaims.
“Too dangerous,” Ominis answered gravely.
“Wizards Chess?”
“Too boring!”
Poppy smiled, “How about hide and seek?”
The group paused.
“Where?”
“The whole castle. Just one round, then we say goodnight.” Poppy clarified.
Garreth grinned at her, “That’s actually brilliant.”
Natty chimed, “I call not being it!
MC put their hand on Sebastian’s shoulder and smiled sweetly. “Sebastian should be it since he’s the fastest.”
“And the most competitive,” Ominis muttered.
“And the most handsome,” Sebastian added.
“That’s where I’ll stop you, mate.” Garreth held up his hand defensively.
“So we’re all in favor?”
Sebastian sighed. “Fine, fine, I’ll give you all a minute, so you better go.”
Sebastian turned toward a stone pillar and covered his eyes.
“One… two… three…”
His voice echoed through the castle as the group scattered like a school of startled fish, disappearing into dark corridors and winding staircases.
MC ran until the sounds of laughter and pounding footsteps faded into silence. She stopped beneath a tall arched window, steadying her breath.
Hogwarts always felt different after dark. The corridors stretched farther, the shadows deeper. It was almost frightening; she had seen it before, but she usually wasn’t alone.
Fast and frantic footsteps came up behind her. Garreth barreled into the moonlight, their eyes locked, and he mouthed “Sebastian!”
MC slipped behind a suit of armor cloaked in shadow. Garreth struggled to fit himself into a cupboard that was entirely too small for him. The wooden door clicked shut a heartbeat before another set of footsteps echoed down the corridor.
Sebastian rounded the corner, his stride confident and deliberate. Hands tucked casually into his pockets as though he were taking an evening stroll instead of hunting down his friends.
Sebastian’s gaze swept methodically over the corridor, lingering in every shadow and alcove. Snow had dampened the dark curls at his temples, and the cold had left a flush across his cheeks. MC’s pulse quickened. She blamed the possibility of being caught.
Sebastian kicked the cabinet. “Come out, Garreth. I know you’re in there.”
Garreth spilled out of his hiding spot with an exasperated whine. “Oh come on! How did you know?”
A smug smile spread across Sebastian’s face.
“I have excellent intuition, Garreth. I’m fairly certain I’ve mentioned that before.”
“You absolutely just guessed.”
“Perhaps.”
Garreth shoved him lightly in the shoulder, and Sebastian laughed, returning the gesture before steering him back down the corridor. Their voices faded into the distance.
Nearly half an hour had passed.
The castle had grown quieter. Every so often, laughter echoed through the corridors, followed by Sebastian’s unmistakable voice declaring another victim found.
MC slipped from one corridor into the next, convinced she’d finally put enough distance between them. Looking behind her, she rounds a corner, nearly falling over after colliding with ***him***.
Sebastian caught himself first, his hand shooting out to steady her before either of them could stumble. For a heartbeat, neither of them moved.
A slow smile spread across his face. “Well,” he murmured. “Fancy meeting you here.”
“I was just leaving.”
“Are you?”
His fingers loosened from her sleeve, though he made no move to step aside. “You know,” he said, tilting his head, “I could simply say ‘found you.’”
“But you haven’t.” She starts backing away from him.
“No.” His grin widened. “This is much more entertaining.”
She met his gaze, refusing to look away.
“You talk too much.”
“I’ve been told it’s one of my better qualities.”
In one swift motion, MC turned and ran back the way she came.
Sebastian laughed.
“You know, if you surrender now, I might be merciful.”
“You’ll have to catch me first!”
She darted down the corridor, her laughter echoing off the stone walls.
“MC!” he called after her. “You’re only making this more difficult for yourself!”
She glanced over her shoulder just long enough to flash him a triumphant smile.
“Sounds like a *you* problem.”
“Oh, you’re going to regret that.”
His footsteps thundered after her, and she couldn’t stop smiling as the chase began anew.
Several more minutes slipped by. The castle had grown unnervingly quiet.
Sebastian hadn’t called out another name in some time. MC couldn’t decide whether that was reassuring or….
MC slipped behind a faded tapestry, disappearing into the narrow passage concealed beyond it.

Sebastian slowed as he entered the corridor. A ribbon lay forgotten beneath the tapestry.
He picked it up, turning it over once before a grin tugged at the corner of his mouth.
“There you are.”
Instead of following, he leaned casually against the opposite wall, waiting. The tapestry shifted. MC stepped out, glanced down the empty corridor, and exhaled.
“You always were forgetful.”
She froze.
Sebastian pushed himself off the wall, her ribbon dangling from one finger.
“I’ve been standing here for a full minute.”
“You call that patience?”
“I call it confidence.”
Her eyes dropped to the ribbon.
“So that’s where it went.”
“I was hoping you’d come back for it.”
She smiled.
“And if I hadn’t?”
“I’d have had to keep it.”
“You don’t strike me as the sort that keeps ribbons, Sallow, but I don’t judge.”
“No.” His gaze held hers. “Just yours.” Sebastian took one deliberate step toward her. Eyes smoldering.
“You know,” he said, “I could end this.”
“But you won’t.”
His grin answered before he did.
“Not yet.”
She laughed.
“I knew it. You’re enjoying yourself.”
“Immensely.”
She darted left.
His hand caught the edge of her sleeve.
For the briefest moment, he had her.
Then, just as quickly, he let go.
“Run,” he said.
MC didn’t need him telling her twice.
***
The clock struck midnight, and MC had taken all the most clever routes she knew through the castle. MC slipped through the door of a classroom and eased it shut behind her.
Finally. She leaned against the door and sighed. A moment to breathe, she stopped to listen. Silence, except for a crackling fire.
A smile crept onto her face.
“I expected better.” The voice came from the corner of the room.
Sebastian was leaning against a dusty bookshelf, one shoulder pressed lazily to the wood as though he’d been waiting for her all along.
She glanced toward the windows. Then back to the door.
“No hidden passages?”
“I checked.” He smirked.
She laughed softly, shaking her head.
“You’ve become quite the dogged fellow.”
“I’ve become victorious.”
“You haven’t caught me.”
“Haven’t I?”
He took a single step forward. Nowhere left to go. For a moment, neither of them spoke, and the fire crackled between them.
“So…” Sebastian began quietly.
“Do I have to tag you…” His grin returned. “…or are you prepared to admit defeat?”
MC folded her arms. “You’ll have to earn it.”
His eyebrows lifted.
“I’ve been earning it for the better part of an hour.”
She smiled.
“Then one more minute shouldn’t trouble you.”
Sebastian laughed.
It was warm, genuine, and entirely defeated. He reached out, his fingertips brushing the sleeve of her blouse.
“Found you.” His voice tender.
MC glanced at the hand around her arm before meeting his eyes. Before she could say a word, Sebastian pulled her against him. A soft gasp escaped her as she looked up into his dark eyes, suddenly aware of the warmth of his body pressed against hers.
Sebastian leaned down and captured her lips in a slow, lingering kiss. A quiet whimper escaped MC as she kissed him back, her fingers slipping into his hair. Butterflies fluttered in her stomach, warmth spread through her lower belly. His hands slid slowly up her sides, fingertips brushing the curves of her body before settling firmly at her waist. A low groan escaped him as she ground her hips against him.
“I’d say I earned this.”
MC smirked. “That isn’t how hide and seek works.”
“No?”
“No.”
“Shame,” he chuckled softly, his smile softening as he searched her face. MC closed the small distance between them, brushing her lips against his once more. Sebastian pulled her closer, his knee slipping between her thighs as their kiss grew more fervent. She caught his lower lip between her teeth, drawing a smile from him.
“We can’t do this here,” MC breathed against Sebastian’s neck.
Roughly, Sebastian hiked up MC’s skirt and slid his fingers beneath the fabric, the sensation of his fingers against her wet folds making her stiffen as she clung desperately to the front of his shirt.
“Darling,” Sebastian murmured, pressing his forehead against hers, “I don’t think we have much choice. Look at the state of you.”
She met his gaze, her cheeks flushed with reluctant desperation.
His lips curved into a smug smile.
“I thought so.”
Suddenly, he turned her around breaking the kiss, leaning her over the desk. His fingers moved expertly against her heat, her back arching into him as she felt his stiffening length against her ass. A low moan escaped Sebastian. One hand slid under her shirt, cupping her breast before gently teasing her nipple.
“Merlin,” he breathed against her ear. “You are trouble.”
“Lie down,” she breathed.
“Giving orders now?”
A smile formed on her lips.
“You won.”
“I did.”
“So claim your prize.”
A slow grin spread across Sebastian’s face. Without a word, he crossed to the fireplace, never once taking his eyes off her as he shrugged out of his clothes with effortless confidence. He stretched out before the dancing flames, their amber light tracing every sharp contour of his body. Broad freckled shoulders gave way to a lean, sculpted chest, each muscle carved in flickering shadow. The warmth of the fire caught the bronze tones of his skin and the tousled waves of his dark hair, while the familiar smile played at the corner of his lips, equal parts smug and irresistible. MC’s eyes trailed over his body, settling on his hard erection, eager for her to approach.
She felt a shiver of pleasure ripple through her core as she slowly peeled away her clothes. Firelight traced the soft curves of her body, while a fine sheen of sweat from her frantic escape left her skin glowing like polished metal.
Sebastian’s breath caught in his throat.
“Bloody hell…” he murmured, his golden eyes roaming over her. “You really are determined to be the death of me.”
She smiled as she settled astride his kneeling form, threading her fingers through his dark hair and gently tugging his head back before capturing his lips in a slow, lingering kiss.
His hands found her hips before sliding lower, gripping her firmly as their bodies instinctively moved together. A quiet groan escaped him against her lips.
“You always have to be in control, don’t you?” his voice rough with amusement.
Pressing both palms against his broad, muscular chest, MC slowly guided him onto his back. Sebastian let himself fall with a dramatic sigh, a crooked grin spreading across his face as he looked up at her.
“Oh?” he chuckled. “Is this how it’s going to be?”
Sebastian's smile only widened, clearly entertained by her feigned dominance. She nodded cheekily and gave him a quick kiss before turning around, now sitting astride towards his feet. She shook her hips as she bent over, grabbing his member in her hand, softly stroking. His body responded immediately, his hips lifting instinctively beneath her touch. Sebastian gasped as she took him into her mouth, gently swirling her tongue around the head. Slowly taking him further into her mouth, her lips swelling and cheeks hollowing as she sucks. Every breathless moan that escaped him sent another wave of pleasurable heat coursing through her, urging her onward.
“Merlin… where have you been hiding this talent?” A sly smile spread across his face. “You’ve only yourself to blame now, darling.” Sebastian grabs her hips, squeezing and stretching her ass. Her back arches as she feels his tongue lapping against her clit.
“Oh…” She could barely finish the word. “Don’t… don’t stop.”
She sits up, still stroking him as he feverishly sucks and licks at her heat. Digging his fingernails into her hips as she rocks back and forth across his face.
“If you keep doing that…” Her eyes fluttered, and a helpless whimper escaped her as she moved harder and faster over his tongue.
“Just like that, baby.” Sebastian slips a finger into her as he continues to suck on her clit. The vibrations from his mouth on her slit sent her over the edge. Her voice broke into a helpless moan as the force of her climax crashed over her, every muscle released and quivering.
Grabbing MC tenderly, Sebastian climbs on top of her, curling a strong hand around the back of her neck and gently circling her pulsating core with his fingers. The firelight flickered across his face, illuminating the soft flush in his cheeks and the quiet affection written so plainly in his expression.
His cock was dripping in anticipation at her entrance. “Are you ready for me?” He murmured in her ear.
“God, yes.” She breathed, kissing his collarbone.
Sebastian’s erection slowly penetrated MC’s slick entrance, her eyebrows raised, and her mouth gaped as he slowly sank his erection deeper inside her.
“Fuck…” He groaned and dipped his forehead to the floor.
His hips moved in slow circular motions; the deep carving out of her core left MC breathless. Her hands clung to his muscular shoulders as his speed increased and the feelings of explosive pleasure began to climb once again in her belly.
“God, it’s so tight, you feel amazing,” He moaned in her neck, his hips bucking wildly as he bottomed out against her.
She cried out as the pressure reached a tipping point, “Sebastian… please!” Back arching as electrifying pleasure began to course through her again.
“I’m going to fill you up, darling.” Breathlessly, his thrusts became more erratic. “You’re all mine.”
He kissed her deeply, his tongue dominating her mouth as she felt him shudder at his orgasm. He held his final thrust for a few seconds before pulling out. Both shaking and panting, embraced in the firelight, lightly kissing. Sebastian pulls her in tightly and nuzzles against the back of her neck.
“We should do this more often,” Sebastian murmured.
She smiled. “I agree. Hide and seek was far more entertaining than I expected.”
“Oh, bloody hell.” Sebastian suddenly sat bolt upright, his expression shifting from contentment to utter horror.
“What?”
“I never found Ominis.”
She blinked before bursting into laughter. “Oh, you’re in so much trouble tomorrow. I suppose that means you didn’t win after all.”
He let out an indignant scoff as he reached for his shirt. “Oh, darling,” he said, flashing her a thoroughly self satisfied grin, “I most certainly did.”
just wrapped up my playthrough of HL a few days ago and Sebastian just became my new favorite even though i kinda find the narrative of this game really sucks... 😇
