A little party never killed nobody || Jessy & Evie
Jessy thought that the girls wasn’t so bad. She seemed alright and Jessy had fun watching her, while she filled some alcohol in an half drunken bottle of coke, so she could drink her whiskey while she was working without anyone noticing. Sometimes she drank with costumers but of course it wasn’t allowed to drink at work too much. Jessy didn’t really think she was really good at her job, but it wasn’t hard work either, she flirted she made some drinks and let guys be grabby with her.
When the girl walked off with the drinks, Jessy still had her in her sight, while a costumer tried to order something that Jessy couldn’t understand. “Talk English or leave.” she scoffed, still having her look onto that girl. She wasn’t sure if she would do it but the girl, who looked quite good now with her hair a little messed up, actually managed to stop a guy and to drink with him. Jessy smiled and saw that Evie had turned to her and lifted the empty glass, when Jessy lifted her bottle to the girl back and took a sip, while the guy in front of her made his second attempt to order. She didn’t listen but threw some drinks together and put it in front of him.
Jessy wanted to see if Evie would get with the guy or think she would be done with some task now and come back and wait for more orders or something. She was Jessy’s little experiment.
Now, with the task completed Evie could go back to the bar where Jessy was. After all, it was her she came to the pub with and she was the one with the booze. Besides, Evie thought she was the kind of fun she needed tonight and she was just lucky to find it when she was in need. It was then when she gave a sweet yet charming smile to the guy, took his shot and walked up to the bar again.
The guy seemed okay yet Evie wasn’t the kind of person who hooks up with anyone that she crossed paths with. She liked to have fun but she didn’t really go overboard, at least she wasn’t used to it. Her family’s etiquete had really gotten into her even though she didn’t really admit it and so she goes to parties to try and hide it all out. She doesn’t like that part of her life anyways so when she’s drunk she enjoys it at its fullest.
“And that’s how its done” Evie said jokingly trying to rise her hands without loosing any balance. She wasn’t really sure why did she just do as Jessy said but it was too late to even analyse it. “It’s your turn now, it’s only fair” she pointed at Jessy as she raised her eye-brows. “And my turn to try and get creative…” Evie paused for a few seconds, letting the alcohol cease on his mind, ignoring the fact the she was now going to be the one to tell orders. “I dare you to choose anyone at the bar and grab there phone without them noticing”. Evie was just thinking how they could have a laugh while pranking people. “But wait, are you still sober AF?”.
Yeah, fine. This is just my face.

Just Bailey I think. My girlfriend named her back then. I don’t know what she had in mind back then. She’s very cute. If you ever look for a position as dog sitter, I might need one from time to time.

A little party never killed nobody || Jessy & Evie
“Got to show what I have.” Jessy shrugged. “Also it brings really good money.” she said almost chuckling, thinking of maybe getting her cam out tonight again, later when she was drunk enough to let guys pay to see her naked. Getting money this way was easy and even though she sometimes had a weird feeling about it, she didn’t really hate it either. She kind of did have a lot of fans out there. No one ever though one of the famous Wright family would end up like her, but at least most of them forgot she even belonged to that family. She was the black sheep and she enjoyed it. She liked the attention it gave her and it was so much more fun than to sit around all prim and proper on family tables with boring conversations and high expectations Jessy could never reach.
Jessy thought about offering the girl some weed but she didn’t see it happen yet. The girl needed to loosen up and honestly her clothes didn’t really scream party. While Jessy made a few more drinks, all with more alcohol than necessary she watched Evie down the shots. And then suddenly the girl changed, opening the buttons of her shirt and Jessy couldn’t help but risk a look there. “Nice.” she said when she walked up to Evie again, the bottle of booze in her hands. She reached out and filled up two. “I dare you to make one of the guys here drink one of these with you.” she said teasingly.
Evie chuckled, “I’m not surprised it does. I can see you are doing very well in your job”. Although it was just for fun, Evie couldn’t help but wonder what might Jessy be thinking when she did those kinds of things, was there even a thing to think about? That was a little bit of a mystery for her since Evie would probably be thinking of how different she was from her family and what would they think of her. Well if there was still a sober piece of her mind, with enough alcohol anyone can shut their minds up.
“Thanks” Evie said as she checked her cleavage and rearranged her hair, “Getting in the mood”. Just when she lifted her head up she saw Jessy with more booze, about to fill the shots again. This time she only filled two making Evie think that Jessy had heard her request and was going to drink with her. Not entirely true, and not what Evie expected. Apparently Jessy had heard her request but the partner she was going to find was with someone else. Actually, this made it even more intriguing for her.
Evie looked at Jessy and laughed slightly, “very well”. She took the shots and looked around, searching, until she saw a guy that was about to walk over to the bar. Evie walked up to him and stood in his way, making the guy look at her. She looked into his eyes, her head tilted, her cleavage slightly showing, enough to tease him, and her charming smile flirting on its own. “Drink with me?” she finally said as she handed one of the shots. The guy just smirked before he grabbed it and downed it with Evie. She smirked and turned back to look at Jessy, hoping she was looking at the show. She mouthed the word “Cheers” over at her, not saying it out loud, just subtly raising her empty shot.
Yeah… well I’m not a fan of Charlie Baker if I may admit.
You think? I must look for them then. Although they all really love it when I put on a movie and they have no idea how much they learn while watching it. The name’s Bailey. She’s really tiny with short curly hair. She’s a Maltese.

Strangely estranged || Charlie & Evie
[ @eviebaker ] Andie coming to town had stirred up a lot in Charlie’s head. Evie following in close succession had stirred up more still. His brother was bothering him more and more and Charlie wasn’t an idiot.. he knew that Michael probably thought he was trying to poison his children against him, probably thought he’d already succeeded with Andie. If either of the brothers was going to poison people against the other, however, it would be Michael. He’d practically done it already with their cousin Lydia. Charlie checked his phone with a sigh. There was only one more day left until the holidays (though technically it was only a last minute hand in/catch up day for the students who were behind) and part of him missed the buzz of a high school, it was just a completely different vibe. College was great but there was still a part of him that was becoming a little fussy with it. He couldn’t keep hopping from place to place though… and who’s to say that he wouldn’t continue to get disillusioned still. Charlie wasn’t completely sure what he wanted anymore, he kept changing his mind.
It wasn’t as cold out as it could have been so Charlie had been walking around town, doing some shopping. He’d left Daniel at his grandparents while he was out, having decided that would be easier. His thoughts were all over the place today and he didn’t fancy trying to fight his way through the crowds with a baby. Charlie decided to stop off at the coffee shop on the way back though. He was craving a tea and things were usually better when someone else made it. He was just about to step inside when he caught sight of a now familiar figure making their way along the street. Evelyn. Charlie hesitated. The girl didn’t seem that interested in him, not that he could blame her, but there was this part of him that was urging him to keep trying for some reason. Maybe he was just curious… or maybe it had something to do with Sophie, not that he wanted to dig very far into that. So he moved away from the doors and started moving in her direction. “Evie!”
Coming to Baberton was definitely a change from Evie’s life in Wales but deep down she knew that there was no better place to be. After all, she willingly left Wales for a reason and so far, everything was turning out good: everyone thought that she was only visiting because of her sister, because of Andie’s departure from back home, and that’s it. Well or so she thought before she received that anonymous message. It was very unclear though, Evie couldn’t be sure that that message was talking about the real reason she left, as she couldn’t be certain that it wasn’t talking about it either. Although it did give her a fright, she couldn’t assume anything yet, and worrying about it would only cause wrinkles. No need for that, it was better to focus on what she could actually see. That being her family, for example, and all that brought to her. Evie wasn’t fond of all those cordial conversations with her relatives so far. It reminded her of how she had to act when she was a little girl, around her own parents. It was inevitable to bump into them anytime as Baberton is quite a small town and people can be hard to avoid. However, if Evie did, she just had to do what she was taught to do. At least it was useful in some way.
After getting lost a couple of times, Evie managed to locate the Coffee Shop easily. Now this place was starting to become a routine in her everyday when she didn’t feel like making breakfast or lunch. Stoping by this place was easy, fast and always filled her needs just right, specially with the town starting to get cold. Getting a hot drink was probably the best idea and actually, the best thing about winter for Evie. It felt so cozy. She was getting close to the Cafe, it wasn’t very far from where she was staying, when she saw Charlie. She immediately recognised him, there was something about him that got engraved in her memory. After all, Charlie was the mystery man that, implicitly, could not be mentioned back home. This could only mean that Charlie didn’t like her father either and therefore neither of the people that reminded Charle of him. Evie wasn’t really interested in getting to know him, she was basically raised not to yet this man had definitely triggered something in her though she didn’t want to admit that he had even the slightest effect on her. As soon as she realised Charlie had noticed her she wanted to look at him with a contempt stare but Evie managed to cover it with a polite smile, “Charlie. Hi, how’s your day been? Also starting to get cold?” she said as she pointed at his tea.
Excuse me, but did you just say, the Bakers? You’re a Baker?

“A seven, huh?” Jessy laughed and thought for a moment. Well for whatever Jessy had in mind doing with her she probably needed a few more points and when she thought that she meant shots before she could offer it to that girl. It wasn’t like Jessy thought she was bad or anything, she just thought she was a little extraordinary although most of this shitty town would count her and her friend Rachel to the bad girls. But they were having fun, day in day out. They weren’t bothered about the deaths in town even though Jessy had hooked up with some of the dead guys before. She couldn’t think of a reason why anyone would like to kill her, for most people she was just garbage anyway.
Coming to the pub, Jessy let go of the girl and greeted a few regulars with a smiled when she adjusted her shirt so you could see more of her boobs. It was the best way to get more tips and she was one of those barmaids who didn’t even mind when people got grabby. She didn’t care really as long as it brought more money. When her new little friend suddenly started her dance there, Jessy laughed and stood immediately behind the bar, lining up shots on the top of the bar already. When she asked for shots she would get some and Jessy filled one glass after the next. “There you go, love.” she said with a wicked grin. “All for you.”
Evie gave a chuckle when she saw Jessy adjusted her shirt, “Nice game you have there” she said hovering her hands over her not-so-exposed boobs as Jessy was coming towards her, towards the bar. For some reason she found that so cool, so careless. Evie found it was always satisfying to see that type of attitude in people, what she called fun, as she never really saw it when she was growing up. She saw people smiling politely, nice dinners, everyone interested in all conversations, listening very closely, but everything was too nice, too perfect for it not to be a movie or something scripted. At least now, she could be sure this was not going to be one of those nights and thank god because that wouldn’t be something she would sign up for.
Ready. Set. Go. That’s what Evie understood as if some sort of a game was about to start. With one hand on the table she downed the first shot, then the next, and the next after that. She shook her head, her eyelids were strongly closed against each other feeling how the alcohol rushed to get inside her head. Evie laughed and coughed a little, attempting to get rid of the after taste, "Now, I won’t drink all by myself”. She looked down at her shirt, something wasn’t right… She unbuttoned the first few buttons and adjusted the shirt properly, the fun way, just like Jessy had done. “Right?”

Uh… Hi. You okay there? You look like you’ve seen a ghost.
Yeah. Well, maybe I’m wrong. I mean, he could be back sooner. I don’t know.
I guess we can only be sure when it opens again. I’m Evie, by the way. Evie Baker.
Oh believe me, you can’t make it in this town alone. That time at the coffee place isn’t going to be your only time getting lost. Let me know any time you feel like actually having fun. See you around, Baker.

Well you got here at a quiet time. Yeah, I’m not a big fan of my relatives anymore either. You really mean the interesting part? Since most people fall asleep the second I mention the word history. Medicine, that’s ambitious. You like animals then?
I can see that, guess that’s a good thing? Yeah family can get too intense at times and the Bakers are definitely no easy people to deal with. Actually history was one of my favourite subjects back in high school, so yeah. It was more like a hobby really. It can be yes, but I did love animals since I was little so that didn’t stop me.
I don’t plan to. Yeah, I’m not into long stories. Where’s your favourite place to hang out so far? You will need a tour guide to show you all the hotspots in town. Here’s my number for if you get lost again, or just want to have a good drink. By the way, I’m also a fashion consultant on the side.

Maybe Jessy shouldn’t have gotten high this evening before she went to work. But it was her favorite thing to make time go by. Life was much more interesting to see through high eyes than normal ones. Everything was a little better and she was a little more relaxed. Not that she was a tense person in general. Jessy didn’t care, about anything and anyone. Well maybe a tiny bit about her only friend and that one girl but she pushed it aside, which was great when you’re high, you care even less than before. On her way to work she accidentally picked up a girl standing in front of the Green Dove. Whatever people wanted in there. It was mundane to Jessy. The King’s Head was definitely more worth anyone’s while and she had even some guys just coming in there for her. It was easy money, not enough but easy enough.
The girl, she didn’t even know the name yet, seemed to want to have some fun and she was pretty enough that Jessy could try to flirt with her, although she seemed a little too straight to Jessy for now. But whatever. When the girl handed her arm for a handshake, Jessy made a face. “Oh girl.” she sighed, before she took the arm and linked hers into the girls, when she dragged her down the street. “Well, Evie. I suppose that’s a nickname already, I’m Jessy and you’re mine for the night.” she said with a small laugh. It was meant as a joke but she wouldn’t get any other bartender to her. The more people around to serve the more money. She didn’t care about the story of the girl of why she was here or if she was new or anything. Jessy just looked for people to have fun with. “How much fun are you?” she asked before they got closer to the pub.
This was one of those moments where Evie was standing at the right place at the right time. Evie wanted some fun and she bumped with a lady that works at a pub. Who better than someone from the inside to take care of it? So far Jessy seemed too chilled and up and running with the idea, this was starting to catch on to Evie and yet the night hadn’t even started. Evie gasped as soon as she felt a pull but laughed in between her teeth when Jessy mentioned that she was all hers, “I’m flattered”. Even though it was a fun joke, she truly was, a lady like Jessy couldn’t possible have only one costumer in one night, she looked like the kind one had to line up to get a drink from her. “From one to ten I’ll say about a 7… I am a Baker after all” She said laughing.
As Evie walked into the pub all she saw were people dancing, singing, drinking. The pub had a life on it’s own. There was the group that was shouting the lyrics of the song that was playing, the guys betting on who could hook up with the most girls, the group were they seemed to be having a very serious talk, then you had the ones that attempted to dance but were too drunk or high too do so. It seemed as if the pub was filled with people yet it wasn’t a multitude. Thing is, so much was going on that it seemed so but, just by the need for party everyone had, the room seemed as if it was already full. Evie started to walk up to the bar, “Who’s up for some shots?” she said as she pulled a little dance with her hips and shook her head when she was over “I definitely am”. She looked over at Jessy, “I don’t know about you but I’m still in for our little deal”.
