Summary:
Rocky just wanted to see Grace one more time. Just one. He just wanted to talk to his friend, even if it meant changing the future. Was that so wrong?
There's just a problem.
Rocky over shot it. He meant to have a mature conversation with his best friend! He can't do that when his best friend is a pebble!
He's rather cute, he had that going for him, Rocky supposed.
--- or---
Grace dies, Rocky isn't grieving well, so he does what any passionate Eridian would do in his shoes. Invents time-travel just to see his friend one more time. But he over shot the time slot and Ryland Grace is five years old.
Snippet:
Rocky could see something on the walls. Whatever it was was risen just enough that was he able to make it out. Rocky's carapace gave a soft trill and he reached a clawed hand up to touch it. It was a drawing of some sort. Made with a substance that was soft. So soft that Rocky accidently scraped a little off with his claw. He backed up a bit before he made a mistake and destroyed the drawing further.
He focused on it again and tipped his carapace to the side. He wasn't sure what he was looking at. It just seemed to be aimless scribbles along the wall the went off down the side. Then, he saw a more cohesive drawing. It made him get closer to it.
It looked to be of humans? Their bodies were sticks, but the large heads told Rocky that yes, they were humans. There were two. One with long looking hair and one smaller one holding the hand of the taller one. There was a sun above them. At least Rocky was somewhat positive that he was looking at the sun. It was a giant circle in the sky with triangle rays beaming down on them. Behind them, on the ground was a house. At least, Rocky thinks it's a human house. Looks different from this one. This house ad a big triangle roof and a boxy build. It also had one window. This house he was in had many windows and many stairs. Finally, there was something strange standing next to them, four legged, body of a potato, head of a potato and floppy looking ears. A dog? maybe....
