If you want to criticize a hostess for telling her manager “I could be better” when in the last 10 days she’s had a tree cut over and damaged her car, been on the receiving end of a hit and run, just gotten over a pinched nerve, mother’s finger has been broken WHILE her BROTHER is in the HOSPITAL when SHE’S NOT EVEN TALKING TO YOU AND YOU’RE HAVING ANOTHER CONVERSATION SIX FEET AWAY, you should get over yourself. 

But I get it, I’m supposed to smile and be happy, and not present myself in any way other than a smiling robot for 6 hours at a time so I don’t put any sort of damper on your great fucking dinner so I can earn $8 an hour.
