I want to highly recommend two tools for helping you with this very sad situation, which you must use before it happens.
The first is this wonderful script that will automatically add key information (that you choose) like author, title, summary, etc to your bookmark notes so you at least know what got deleted.
The second is this incredible bulk downloader for AO3. Input any AO3 page (such as your bookmarks page) and tell it what format you want to download in and it will just.... DOWNLOAD IT ALL!! I run it every few months so that I have all my bookmarks downloaded in my preferred EPUB format. That way I know I always have my favorites downloaded in case they ever get deleted.
With the combination of these two, I can look in my bookmarks, see what was deleted, and easily find it in my downloads. It's such a relief to have my own fic library is all my favs!

I personally forgot that it wasn't a known knowledge to all users, so if anyone else stumbles upon this post, here is a quick guide!
How to use filtering tags and post content on Tumblr Dot Com!
First if you're on desktop, main view;
click on the menu, three lines, icon > unroll the "Settings" tab (it's near the end of the bar) > click "Account" tab (the first one) > scroll down, almost at the end of the options > find a section "Content you see" (it should be below the birthday you put in)
I'm pretty sure it works the same on mobile app (starting from "settings"), although I haven't used it in a very long time. Firm website user here, teehee.
Now, there are two ways to filter content on Tumblr that I know of from here;
Tags
Post content
Filtering tags in my experience works in a way that you need to write down exactly which tags you want to avoid. But sometimes, if you're broad about it, I'll also filter words used in the tags (correct me if I'm wrong). For example, if I filter "transformers", It'll also flag "transformers prime", same if I filter "harm" it'll also flag the tag "self-harm". So if you want to see transformers but don't want spoilers for new issues, look at tags ppl use for the spoilers (I recommend filtering "spoilers" altogether if you're very irked by them) and filter the spoiler tag the ppl use. Same for the specific content you don't want to see, but sometimes want to see other that uses similar language.
Filtering post content on the other hand will flag anything that has the text you put in, for example, if you filter a character named "Lee", anything that has the combination of those letters in the post will be flagged, no matter if they are in a word like "leeway". So I removed being very specific of what words or "content" as this filter says you filter out. Even more than in the tag section.
And if you encounter a post with anything from your filters, it'll appear gray and there will be a text of things that are in the post that you filtered. You are still able to see the post if you click on it tho, so be careful!
If you have more questions, google them, bc this is all I know.
Be safe, plock out those weeds from your digital garden and scroll only what you want!

Ya girl started to treat this little silly fic much more seriously than she'd ever thought she would XD
ie. A little introduction of what this post and maybe a future list of posts are.
At the beginning it was supposed to be just sth little I started an almost a year ago. I wanted the fic to be my way to indulge into some enjoyable studies of G1 cartoon and learning about the universe. Maybe introducing some of my own thoughts to the fandom I just discovered.
Well. So. It's been a hell of a year since the first chapter was posted and now I have a new goal, a new lesson I want to teach myself while indulging into creative writing!
That goal is to learn how to organize a long-term creative projects though try and error. But it's difficult to do it without a community, hence this post!
I'm happy to reserve any tips and tricks for y'all as well as words of encouragement and your own stories, struggles with creative writing!

To actually start of the log itself!!
That above is my second attempt at writing down this story. I got myself a dedicated notebook just for the fic. The main reason being that I started to get lost in my ideas, not remembering some, not remembering where I wrote them down, even if I did! And since I started a therapy to better function with my mental disabilities, I decided that I could try to — along with organizing my life from the beginning — organize this silly project of mine and see how it goes? Maybe something I'll learn here I could implement in my day to day? Or maybe something I learn from my therapy (much more likely) will be included in my new workflow.
So!
I started off with that I'm including in the timeline of my fic, which is the randomness of Transformers G1 cartoon and the fact that all of the characters are alive at the time of the story happening.
Then I proceeded with writing in numbered points the timeline of this fic, because I needed that to finish the ch2 of my fic XD (the boring part of writing everything that already happened with enough detail that I remember what happened later, but not so much that I'm basically writing the whole chapters in point list style).
I don't think it was the smartest decision on Earth, but if that's what keeps me going then I'll do it. I finally feel like I can finish the ch2! Like, it's actually achievable, which I struggled for almost a year (been busy, life shit happened, new traumas got unlocked/hj). But I'm still here, actually moving forward with writing!
Yeah! This is what I'm doing so far and the next part in that notebook is deciding where or how I want to implement the core Lore for this fic as well as improving the style of my notes for setting scenes and storyline for next chapters. So stay tuned as that might appear in the next log!
