The important part that this conversation is missing is when artistic mediums have been historically practiced by women, they are seen as less significant/worthy/impressive/etc. These art forms such as makeup, sewing, etc. have been practiced for thousands of years across cultures, and majorly by women yet not seen as "high art" until men have appropriated and created professions of them.

Saying makeup is bad because it is reinforcing patriarchal standards is also sexist because you are degrading a women-dominated art form to being nothing more than a tool of men's oppression.

That is a phishing scam impersonating tumblr staff and you should not be posting the asks with a live link in it or trusting the DMs and sending your information! This is an extremely old kind of scam that has began resurfacing and you need to take internet safety into consideration.

It is safer to take a simple screenshot of the ask so the link won’t be spread and lead to a mass hack of users who fell for the attempt. You can warn people without putting their account in danger because some people don’t care what you say and will go to the link anyway.

I have no idea why I'm in my feelings today. And I apologize for all of my incoherent rambling, I guess because I'm not at work or because I have 5 days off of work for the first time in a very long time, I'm unwinding but it doesn't matter because I have to go back to work on Wednesday night anyway. the post that I came here to make is the fact that I'm realizing my last friendship at this point it's just a debt.

I was supposed to be working on a comic with someone and I didn't and I held up their dreams for 10 years and in those 10 years we used to make up houses if not hundreds of stories I know I said that backwards shut up. And now it's just they're talking about their stories they're making their comments and I feel so hollow that I can't find Joy I always said if you can't help someone you should share them on but this this feels like debt
