ao3: i use ao3 but i don't approve of donating to the people who run the site. i think it's awful that it hosts real csam. but it's tagging system is the best one that i know of so i don't have to see that content

no, i don't think darkshippers deserved any past trauma they've gone through. no, i don't think darkshipping should be normalized.
there can be nuance to this conversation, it doesn't have to boil down to "pro" or "anti". no one deserves harassment, but this kind of content should not be normalized.
i am anti-censorship in the context that nothing that requires censorship should be posted in the first place. but i can't control if it does get posted, but i will continue to speak out against it regardless. i will not harass or bully people who do post this stuff, but that does not mean i condone the behavior or content. i will suggest that they seek help in a kind and understanding way.

i think that proshipping is a very harmful thing to do. i hate when people try to say “oh it just means anti harassment you dont like DARKshippers!!” like no you guys just changed ur name and expected us to be chill around you guys again .. like guys it literally means problematic shipping. i dont harass darkshippers but i will never EVER identify myself as a proshipper because just because im not outwardly attacking anyone doesnt mean i think its okay to do. so from here on expect me to use the term proshippers as an umbrella term for all the other weird kinds of shippers
