NGE is crazyyy I have no one to talk about it w, and like no real intelligent thing to say.

Spoilers below!

I JUST finished the original show, and that ending was nuts, im kinda lead to believe, at least with the og show, that the Human Instrumentality Project worked, and all of humanity was melded into one consciousness. It seem people can reach self actualization through others and seeing themselves in others eyes? Though, SEELE is kinda set and stated as the antagonist in the wiki and in the show? It's not clear if humanity merged with Lilith and Adam like SEELE wanted, or if they just became one as part of a separate plan? Or if all of the ending twi episodes are Shinji's cope.

I love all the characters so much, they are all so beautifully complex, I cant understand how anyone could really hate any one of them? The main ones are all children, and sure shinji can be a bit annoying and so can Asuka, but they're kids! and honestly they are all so real for how they acted. and Shinji was justified for this:

Rei is such a fascinating part of the show, shee body being a vessel, however she forms a personality through her interactions with others, and therefore becomes more concrete in her self. I swear the show is a very elaborate Sociology lessons based on Maslows Hiearchy of Needs :

I mean I'm not an expert, but the show itself seems to follow the pyramid, where the kids need to progress though the stages to finally become their true selves, ans the shows plot itself, with the ultimate goal of the Human Instrumentality Project.

I'm definitely confused, and hopefully EoE will clear things up, just a little? I am planning on getting through as much NGE content as I can. I'd love to hear some theories other ppl have, and if im on the right track or wayyyy off!
