I was just reminded of how Geto’s moralization of the role of sorcerers led to his downfall. He believed that he was strong in order to protect the weak, with a nice and built-in metric of cursed energy and technique to show him who was weak and strong. Gojo calls him out on this belief, saying he’s just saying it to make himself feel better because the moralization of sorcerers gives a reason for his suffering. Geto’s suffering is a moral thing because it allows him to protect the weak.

Then Toji happens. By Geto’s worldview, Toji should be weak and an easy fight for almost any sorcerer but he’s not. Toji defeats both Gojo and Geto, and kills Kuroi and Riko, whom Geto and Gojo had sworn to protect. Gojo then awakens and kills Toji, recovers Riko’s body, and takes the blame for what happened. The action of taking all the blame and essentially absolving Geto of any fault in the situation emphasizes the difference in strength, though unintentional. From that moment, they were no longer the strongest together and Geto had to reckon with the fact that someone who, by his worldview, was weak had in fact defeated both the strongest and Geto would never be able to avenge that loss while Gojo had.

Then, Haibara dies and Gojo is sent to deal with the curse. Nanami asks why it can’t all be left to Gojo, while he doesn’t ask the same thing of Geto despite him being a special grade, too. Unintentionally, Nanami has pulled Geto into the category that Geto had once described as weak. And then he meets Nanako and Mimiko, who were stronger than the adults but were small and didn’t have the numbers or skill to fight the adults.

There, Geto finds his reasoning and purpose. It reasserts Geto’s power/strength, explains his suffering in a way that doesn’t necessitate it but instead offers a way out, and gives him a way he can protect his fellow sorcerers in a way he and his classmates weren’t. So much of Geto’s path has been trying to take back his power after the trauma he experienced but not being able to because of his desire to save people (from the weak to sorcerers) and the object of his worldview being the ones to defeat him (Toji being meant to be weak and Yuta who is a young sorcerer).

Geto is constantly trying to give a reason for his suffering but his worldview always fails because he can’t accept that suffering is just suffering, it doesn’t make someone better or worse, they just suffer.

This has to be the hardest argument to have when it comes to getos character development and decent into madness before all of his morals were reshaped, the fact when geto died in jjk0, the shock on his face when gojo said he still trusted him despite everything will always pain me which further the argument most geto haters use that "gojo hates geto" when that couldn't be anymore wrong. Gojo never hated geto, and even when gojo saw Kenjaku in getos body, he held onto the hope that it could have really been his best friend, and he was ready to forgive him right then and there. the fact that geto isolated himself and is supposed to represent how the system fails their own students makes the irony of it all even more interesting to me.

Honestly, I think Amy is way more than just the female love interest for Sonic she's genuinely such an amazing character throughout the games and the shows, and she doesn't get enough credit for what she does. She's a HUGE support character and in teams, especially the teams set up in the Sonic universe the way they are. Support characters play a MAJOR role in helping the main character lead up to the final boss. Overall tho Amy is super sweet and Sonic cares about Amy a lot (I've noticed he tends to show how much he actually misses her while she's I'm her absence then when she's actually around) but I love their interactions none the less. ♡

Can we please all just agree to stop writing dumb ass head canons about creepypasta characters where we try to rationalize them with self diagnosis and do nothing but actively make fun and even negatively stereotype people with genuine mental illness? All I ever see are teenagers and even adults do this, where they try to play doctor and pretend they understand what they're talking about while somehow ignoring that they're saying untrue and harmful things about BPD, DID, things of that nature? HOLY FUCK THANK YOUUU BRO I feel crazy being the only person who speaks up about the rampant ableism in the fandom sometimes which is fucking insane given what this fandom is about.

Its so fucking harmful when people glamorize and romanticize and headcanon things like BPD, ASPD, Bipolar, etc etc in Creepypasta characters and not only do they spread misinformation, or stigmatization, but they turn around and insult, berate, and dehumanize REAL PEOPLE who show actual symptoms of the same disorders they love to throw around in fictional stories/characters. Love the label, hate the symptoms

Also for the fucking love of god can the Creepypasta fandom stop using the terms "psychopath" and "sociopath" especially when its so clear yall have no clue what its like to live with ASPD or what those terms actually mean and how they're used in psychological settings
