Ted Lasso & Heated Rivalry Crossover

Last month I participate in fic exchange of @tedlassocreativecorner. This month the challange was to write a crossover. Since I decided I'll try to write crossovers in 2026 I thought it will be a good opportunity to write something. Since I'm obseesed with Heated Rivalry that the fandom who get crossovers so here we are.

I honestly didn't thought I could finish it on time because of my end of terms assignments and tests. But in the last day of January I finished the first chapter.

Somehow, I found myself do some refrences to the fanfic I wrote last month to @exomal for the exchange. I just planned for this fanfic to be Colin watched Scott's coming out but it became fanfic about his reaction on Roy Kent arrival to Richmond and Colin & Isaac friendship as well. I'm not sure what I'm thinking about it because I planned to write Colin's thoughts about Roy in a different fanfic but it worked perfectly here.

What is it?

The Ted Lasso Holiday Gift Exchange is an opportunity for fic writers in the Ted Lasso fandom to write a gift fic for an assigned follow writer. A great opportunity to spread some end of year joy!

How will it work?

1. Complete the form below with what you want to receive and what you are willing to write 2. On the 1st Dec you will recieve a tumblr message from me with your assignment and their requests 3. Write your fic 4. At some point during the w/c 22nd December, post your fic either on tumblr in full or on ao3 with a tumblr post tagging me and your giftee 5. Enjoy

This will be what your matching is done on. & = platonic, / = romantic eg. Jamie Tartt, Sam Obisanya & Jamie Tartt, Jan Maas/Jamie Tartt means that the author wants one out of: something about Jamie, something about Jamie and Sam's friendship or something about Jan and Jamie romance Prompts: these are optional extras if you want to give your gifter something else to work with. The infuriation is easier to grapple with than the revulsion, and so Lamb allows it to stoke higher in his chest, to the point that when he at last presses play on the recording, he’s prepared to issue River a verbal lashing through the screen. Almost immediately, the flames of his anger are doused. They’ve set the camera at such a distance that Lamb can feel the separation aching between him and River, but near enough that he can hear the ragged, hoarse serration of River’s breathing, thick and clustered with blood. The rest of the room is silent until, after a minute—a minute and a half—ninety-four seconds exactly, footsteps sound and a woman enters the frame. Her profile is covered by the fall of her hair, yet Lamb can see with perfect clarity as she brings her fingers to River’s already-bruised throat and squeezes.
