having a job is very weird bcos by and large your coworkers will be a variety of ages and you will not all be at the same stage of life. your coworker will be like, well I’m off home to spend time with my husband & child, what are you going to do with your evening? and you’re like, well, I plan on playing Rollercoaster Tycoon for as much as it as possible

the problem with reading and writing leading to a strong vocabulary is that you tend to know the vibe of words instead of their meanings.

if I used this word in a sentence, would it make sense? absolutely. if you asked me what it meant, could I tell you? absolutely not.

figure out what the word means from context clues while reading -> use the word in a sentence while writing -> realise you’re not actually certain what the word means -> panic about your sentence not making sense even though it hasn’t been pinged as grammatically incorrect -> look up the definition of the word because You Must Know -> it means exactly what you thought it meant -> oh, good! :) -> immediately forget the definition -> repeat forever

I'm so excited for Mays. Always and perhaps, it could last forever. It's my birth month. It's the month where my birthday falls. It's when I was born. It's when I was given the life I didn't ask for but has grown to enjoy and treasure. I like it. I love it.

I love that I was born during the summer despite being unable to handle the heat. When I was younger, when life was easier, my birthday always falls during the two month vacation and I loved it. I enjoyed it.

My mother would greet me when I wake up and I would lay in bed all day because standing up means sweating and I hate sweating and I can't handle any negative feelings during the only day where I can celebrate myself.

I love birth months and I love birthdays. Selfishly and obsessively.

this summer i will learn italian and french and russian and run a marathon everyday and work for three months and get fifty new ear piercings and read every work of high literature ever created and watch every movie. but most importantly just chill and relax

A modern “fix-it” AU soppi made just to indulge my headcanon where I wholeheartedly believe that the person JFM could not let go was actually WCZ and not CSSR. (Mmm think of the parallels between JFM & WCZ / JC & WWX - where their most trusted person left them, and then went and died, never to return…)

JFM: unhappily divorced due to irreconcilable differences, gave up the family house, dogs and half his company stake in exchange for shared weekly custody. Switches every week with YZY.

WCZ: amicably divorced, still besties with CSSR. WCZ codes at home and takes care of WY for most of the year. CSSR travels the world for her job (photographer), and usually takes WY only during the school holidays as she doesn’t want to disrupt his childhood.
