Jax & Gangle scene and Stolas problem

After seeing the finale I still can't stop thinking about Gangle scene in Jax mind. I will not elaborate on it's meaning because idk (I have my own theory, but as a Jax fan, I don't want to make people angry). But I still want to criticize the inclusion of this scene in the movie.

I saw many people comparing it with Stolas coercing Blitz and ofc they are right. Both are horrible. I even think that with TADC the situation is worse.

First: Helluva always was an adult show. We can say what we want about vivzie but even she was decent enough to put warning before every episode. She didn't deceive people into thinking it was for kids. 

Yes, Goose said somewhere tadc isn't for kids but not everyone is chronicaly online, not everyone know english too. Besides, she knew kids are watching it (Bubble saying he can't wait for kids being traumatised).

Second: Stolas coercing is showed as something bad, even if it wasn't handled perfectly, sometimes even as a joke? Well, I never thought it's funny, but people propably were. 

They're all living in hell so we know they have different morals than us (for ex killing other imps at blood moon festival). Stolas isn't really a bad person, but because living in hell + with royalty, and because of Blitz lies, he didn't knew from the start that what he do and how he is treating others is something evil. Finally he realized that, he even sang: if he's only here as a prisoner, what kind of monster does that make me? So even if there are some fans defending him, no one can defend his actions because even Stolas aknowledged what horrible thing he did.

With Jax situation is different. While it isn't something happening in real, only in his mind, it isn't showed as something bad. We don't know what scenes in his mind were about and even Pomni didn't react. That's why so many people are confused why it was there. Should it tell us something? Then it should be written as something serious. So is it only faservice? Something funny? It shouldn't be.

In my cinema only a few kids were laughing at that scene. The rest were uncomfortable. But I heard that there were many people in other cinemas who found this scene funny and idk if I should be angry. Maybe they didn't realised what they really saw? Well, I hope after yt release they will see what it really is.

And because of the scene being put as a joke, people already defend it: "Gangle wanted it, she was blushing", "it was only a proposition". And yes, it was like that with Stolas defenders too, but we had second season, where he aknowledged his mistakes, so no one can deny it was coercion. With Jax we didn't get that and we never will.

Third: why vivzie can be called out for making SA joke, but Goose can't? Ik it isn't about Stolas but it's about hellaverse. Vivzie made SA jokes. For ex. in Helluva it was the moment when Moxxie was SA'd by Verosika's group. In Hazbin it was some randoms dragging Sir Pentious to other room to r**pe him after he said he will sleep with everyone (we know he didn't mean it). Both scenes were played as a jokes and many fans hated it. I saw many posts calling Vivzie out and it was hard to defend this "jokes". Yeah, Vivzie fans tried to, but it was harder.

With TADC I feel that even giving a little criticizm is looked upon as something bad. We can't call Goose out without someone defending her or others ignoring our points. I already saw people saying that we are looking too deep in it, creator didn't want it to be SA joke, just silly flirting. They can't tell me that putting this scene here as it is wasn't intentional. But considering how all of this movie is, maybe they really didn't put any thought in it.

All this situation is so frustraiting for me. As SA survivor I would want people to put more attention to it, and I know many are already talked about it, but I feel like our voices are silenced by louder group of people praising every aspect of movie.

The Necromancer begins to comically fumble with his meat puppet as the rotting corpse stumbles and shakes around like a piece of raw bison.

I feel like there’s a lot of incestuous undertones in the amazing digital circus especially if you were to craft them into a found family.

Because like, in all seriousness, how would the members of the circus actually develop any form of community in a healthy way? Because like

Caine is the one in control of everything, right? So I think it would be so insidious if he forced everyone to adhere to certain and specific roles found in the nuclear family.

Like he assigns Kinger and Queenie the role of his parents even though they don’t really want that, and they adhere to it anyways. Ragatha being Caine’s “sister” and earlier members that worked with Kinger and Queenie being his “aunts” and “uncles”.

And then Caine would view Jax and Zooble and Ribbit and Kaufmo as possible relatives like “son” “daughter” “in law” “sister” “brother” (and yes, intentionally not allowing Zooble to be a “child” or “sibling”)

Fun what if from a while ago before the finale:

What if Gangle actually confronts Jax after Zooble calls him out for pressing the button and she goes off on him to Jax’s shock and almost fear. And then she says “I’d put you back in that stupid re-evaluation room if I could”. She takes it too far threatening to beat him torture him and abuse him, not realizing Zooble is right within earshot. Jax can’t move and is frozen. He’s so afraid he frantically apologizes for pressing the button and asks her to not put her in that room again.

OK SOOOOO FIRST OF ALL. i was genuinely really surprised at how halfway enjoyable he was? at least compared to the other cast… anywho. i was pretty frustrated with his dynamic with alastor (vivs Invincible Character) and i think they really missed out on some possible plot points.

first of all vox seems to be able to control other demons, at least those who view his programming, even beyond simple celebrity idolization. thats a LOT of possible power to have access to, and voxs manipulation of others could have been a good match with alastors raw, self-controlled power.

also the whole idea of radio taking the entertainment throne again is so ridiculous to me because like. people used to tune into tv broadcasts through the radio when tvs werent as widespread! they would still be consuming his programming anyways! alastor needs some kind of major weakness and his lack of popularity would definitely be a good way to do that

obviously i am additionally pissy about his time period inaccuracies. why make a character represent a certain decade if you arent going to make them embody it at all? i think viv recognized that people in the 1950s were enraptured by the idea of a new frontier of technology, especially through tv, but failed to incorporate that correctly at all. retro-futurism was and is interesting because people assumed their everyday customs and style of living would persist, even if technology became more advanced. vox to me completely lacks the sheen of socially perfect consummate professionalism characteristic of the ideal television host of the time. would it literally kill you to have a character not say fuck constantly and be addicted to sex.

People seem to forget that the 1950s came yes with a lot of progress, but also with a LOT of conservative beliefs and issues especially after things like the world wars—I’m sure war time propaganda, the housewife things, THE HAYS CODE, we’re probably very big and booming during this time.

I would rather not Vox have a sex addiction and rather him have a purity and conservative closed mind as it would be more period accurate.

I think it would be interesting to see him confront those issues via character development. Idk maybe I’m just sleep deprived (I am)
