someone snuck poop into my pants. I know it wasn't me because I would simply hand the poop to my target and he would say either "oh thank you" or "no thank you" depending on his mood and then he would either take it or not take it (also mood dependent?). but to do it behind my back like this it is dishonorable and reminiscent of a crow.

No spoilers please, but I just barely finished reading Dawnshard and am now re-reading Warbreaker for the first time in over a decade and the prolouge is already giving me *suspicions* about what Rysn found at the end of her book...

Just in general I am really enjoying the experience of reading through the Cosmere at a slow pace with as few spoilers as possible. I like getting to try & unravel the mysteries of how the heck magic works on a broad scale, what commonalities it shares across planets, what kind of heirarchy exists between all the many types of "shattered pieces of divinity," etc, with info from in-universe sources only wherever possible.

Reblog to add my current theories because @explodingkitten492 is right, I should have put those in.

What kicked off my big ah-ha moment was realizing the way Rysn described her changed perspective on the world in the end of Dawnshard is remarkably similar to how Vasher describes feeling heightened with a lot of Breath in Warbreaker. Given how *important* the mural/secret on Akinah seemed, I already thought that she took in a piece/element of a diety or god-bit like carious people did in Mistborn. Warbreaker's prolouge now has me guessing that the *specifc* bit she got is the same one (or at least a fragment broken off the same one) that was responsible for biochromatics on the planet Warbreaker takes place. Not sure how the bug people got it to Roshar, wether the same magic still exists on the original planet, how long of a time there is between the events of Warbreaker and Dawnshard. But I remember in Mistborn that there was in important discussion around how the deities there had different elements (their physical form vs their will/conciousness) and it seems like maybe Rysn got only the will part, or maybe even an echo of a will the way Dalinar did with the echoes of Honor/Stormfather? (Because if she got a piece as big as Sazed did, with both body/power and will/conciousness, I really don't think she'd be as human as she still is)
