C.R.E.A.M in Shakespearean verse
Verily, verily, thou hath ventured hither, To witnesseth a parody of a rap ditty, So gather 'round, and lendeth me thine ear, For I shall recite 'Cream' in Shakespearean splendour!
Once upon a time, in the borough of Shaolin, A band of warriors, dubbed the Wu-Tang Clan, Their artistry, a blend of prose and rap, With lyrics so sharp, 'twas like a samurai's katana.
C.R.E.A.M., they chanted, with fervent might, Cash Rules Everything Around Me, 'twas their plight, Yet, in this rendition, we alter their course, To make it sound as if 'twere writ by the Bard, perforce.
What ho! What ho! The mighty Wu-Tang Clan, Shall we traverse upon their lyrical plan, Of wealth and riches, their ultimate goal, In Shakespearian guise, this tale unfolds.
"Forsooth," quoth Ghostface Killah, in words so true, "Verily, I desireth gold and silver too, For 'tis through lucre that I shall findeth glory, And maketh mine enemies tremble afore me."
Method Man, with his melodious flow, Spoketh thus, "I seeketh fortune, and so, I toil in the streets, with rhythm and skill, Forsooth, with silver, I shall pay mine bills."
O Raekwon, with rhymes like a sharpened blade, He sayeth, "I hustl'd to gain what I made, In the land of Shaolin, I holdeth sway, For gold and jewels, I shalt not delay."
And lo, Inspectah Deck, with words of wit, Proclaimeth, "Mine path to riches, I commit, For with C.R.E.A.M., I'll wield mine power, And rise to the zenith, within the hour."
Methinks, 'twas RZA, the mastermind bold, Who sayeth, "I seeketh wealth, untold, Through beats and rhythms, my empire shall grow, And with golden crowns, I shall grace mine brow."
And thus, the Wu-Tang Clan hath laid their claim, To riches and glory, in rap's mighty game, Yet, let it be known, 'tis but a parody jest, Forsooth, their true talent, we must attest.
So, as we endeth this Shakespearean escapade, With a nod to the Wu-Tang Clan's grand crusade, Remember, dear friends, their legacy vast, Lies in their verses, which forever shall last.
