Give me bitter Leo Valdez. Give me resentful, spiteful Leo Valdez. Give me a Leo Valdez that just wants revenge on the people who screwed him over and treated him like shit. Give me the fucked up, hurt, rage-filled Leo Valdez that’s so destroyed by the people from his childhood- the adults that were supposed to protect him- he wants to destroy them back. It’s a part of him in canon that gets forgotten a lot of the time but Leo is angry. Yes, he turns a lot of that anger on himself most of the time, but not always.

Give me Leo that punches the walls at night. Give me Leo growing more confident in his power and one day dreams of seeking revenge on those who wronged him. He was just a kid- how could they do that to him?

He kills Gaea out of nobility, true. He sacrifices himself out of disregard for his own worth. But he also wants revenge for the death of his mom, and all the mental torture and absolute shit that goddess had put him through. That’s why it had to be fire, not storm. Jason never had the same anger directed towards Gaea. Leo defeating her is a brilliant moment of catharsis for his character that NEVER gets picked back up in TOA.

But there’s so many more people that hurt Leo that never got their comeuppance. Namely his family and the people in the foster homes. And Leo would always hold that resentment in his heart for treating him the way they did.

Mirrored Truths AU Comic - Issue 1: Reaperhood page 3

So um... I got bored yesterday and remade two designs for an old AU...

...

This was actually my newest one, besides from Mirrored Truths, of course. I like it a lot, even made a (huge) post about it on the Petpyves website about a year (?) ago :/ I considered posting it more (I do have some posts on my old Instagram and the Petpyves website), but got too nervous because it was so FAR FROM CANON GOSH DANG IT 😭

The AU name is Heir To The Rift (HTTR), or Heir To The TerraRift (HTTTR) idk which one is better honestly

I'm introducing it just to, yk, introduce it bc I'm doing ANYTHING I can to stay fixated in this fandom bc of my comic and all, this AU is gonna be exclusively oneshots (maaaayyyybeeee), shitpost, and animation. Just a second AU that I like too much to ditch even with my primary one :)
