basically, john and jade are only HALF-siblings, and due to a custody battle followed by the death of both parents, they were separated... there are two colonel sassacres who have zero relation to eachother, dad egbert is john and jade's biological dad, and dad crocker is the adoptive parent of john and the bio parent of jane. i also forgot to mark the colonels as deceased, oops... jake was somehow born to an old grandma english, who died of complications shortly after. jade and jake were both orphans on the island and got their GED's online, with the help of their friends! they've since moved to college together.

I'm fascinated by how the animators for TADC handle Caine's impossible anatomy so well. There's so much to balance and they've somehow engineered a solution for his expressions to hold during speech.

I also traced Caine answering the phone from episode 4 to demonstrate his phonemes and mouth shapes.
