My view on religion: I am an agnostic misotheist, and this isn't exclusive to Christianity HOWEVER the misotheist part is heavily dependant on if the religion wants to spread or doesn't care if it spreads, more information here. But TL;DR the best common religions are passed down as family stories and don't care if nobody believes in their gods in the future as long as their kids carry their culture. The coolest religions as far as how shiny they are to me though are the rare often more modern and more leftist ones that don't care if they die out completely (like all the prehistoric cultres we forgot naturally) because they don't prioritize making their kids think like them because they're not that selfish and they just focus on making sure their kids can survive in their adulthood. (Like all the prehistoric cultures we forgot naturally.) This is mostly for the sake of prioritizing the kid's ability to think for themselves and right to not be indoctrinated into anything other than basic human decency.

I don't read bios unless I'm specifically remembering to look for pronouns to talk on a reblog/comment and I usually don't because I comment fast and block faster so if I'm on your DNI I do not know and don't give enough of a shit in the moment to check, and if you harass me because of that I will be mean. On a related note, if I vaguepost about someone its because I'm angry about something and have likely already blocked them. Neutral "they" is just part of the post format and I don't care enough to find a different general-use for everyone I don't know non-"they" pronoun just in case they hate the pronoun "they" for personal reasons, because that's a lot of work and they shouldn't be reading my posts anyway. I remember enough about what made me mad to rant about it but I don't care enough about people who piss me off to remember enough about them to de-anonymize them in my head they are shapeless pronoun blank blobs forever. If I ever say I'm high on here its just THC or on a very rare occasion I may have had a little alcohol too, I live in a place where its legal and I use it instead of alcohol (for the most part) with the intent to not get too dysfunctional. I don't smoke full smoke products, I tend to stick to dry herb vape with a little foray here and there into vaping cannabis concentrates while trying not to be obnoxious in public about it. I'm safer than I could be, but I get that vaping anything has its risks.

No. Not all trans women are transandrophobic, for one, and you trying to say they are is an insult to most trans women out there. If I talk about transandrophobes in a post, or a post I reblog talks about transandrophobes, I am only talking about people who decide to act transphobic toward trans men in particular no matter what the transphobe's personal identity is. I fully support women who are also trans that's like basic shit.
If you're feeling like this because I've criticized someone's fashion or something, its because I don't like her fashion and maybe don't like her as a person, nothing to do with her gender. I do criticize personal choices in a mean manner if someone is also a bigot and I will not apologize for being mean to bigots. By the way, I'm not a fucking transmed. I do think being trans always has a basis in materially evident, peer-reviewable science that does not need ANY metaphysics or religion to be true explain any of it for every single person alive's case (Nobody is trans due to reincarnation or souls because we have not proven with peer reviewed science that metaphysics exist) and we just haven't discovered all of the causes yet so people only think some of the causes have to be immaterial (even though what we know right now is that only the material is real), which makes people think I am a transmed if I explain it bad, and I use it as shorthand for my frustration with myself by saying "fake trans med" if I'm hating myself for not being out. But what we won't do in this house is tell people they have to fucking spend money or meet specific attractiveness standards in order to be a real trans person, and we're not going to just discount the idea that people can feel gender euphoria or gender apathy without needing to feel dysphoria either. People are allowed to self determine whether they are trans or not, and nonbinary people are not any less valid than binary people. Real transmeds need to fuck off.
Sometimes I use the word "they" where it makes more sense for me to use "I" or "we", for example calling trans men as a group "they" even though I am one, this is likely just dissociation. I do it out of attention issues exacerbated by my habits, most likely, I don't usually actively feel distressed when it happens. Just insert "we" if you think I should be using it, I'm lazy about grammar sometimes and don't always bother going back to fix it.
'Why does every nonbinary person want top surgery' I dunno maybe because having visible breasts immediately makes everyone assume you're female and only female, and therefore put you into a binary. Also why are you assuming every nonbinary person has breasts.
I think people who believe that should also put some thought into whether every nonbinary person with breasts actually wants top surgery, or whether they've just decided that the nonbinary people with breasts who want to keep them don't "count" as nonbinary.

Geniune question here—may I ask why it would be bad for people under 18 to participate in mature conversations?
I would like to preface this with THIS point:
It is not inherently bad for minors under 18 to discuss mature topics if they have questions. HOWEVER, these conversations should solely be with trusted adults in their life, not with strangers online who may have poor intentions or may expose minors to communities and topics they have no business within.
That being said - you NEVER know who you are talking to online. Theres lots of good folks out there, but there's also plenty of folks with bad intentions as well. Minors involving themselves in mature conversations can at best, expose them to things they may be a bit too young for (which would mainly be a headache for everyone involved and risk putting innocent adults in legally not great places despite laws being followed on their end), and at worse, open them up to being groomed, whether that then leads to them taking and sending csem of themselves, or walking into a trafficking scenario depending on the nature of the situation.
The reason transgender men are very upset at the idea of being called simply "men" is the same way you can't say "masculinity" when referring to female masculinity.
"Masculinity is always rewarded" Incorrect, women are encouraged to be feminine, not masculine, female masculinity is a marginalized version of masculinity.
We live in an incredibly cissexist world where "man" as a term has a subtext of "cisgender" meaning the context of discussion being a transgender man is important and incredibly relevant.
trans men absolutely are in sex work, the majority just present as women for work because it's much harder to make money if you don't. You don't see them because they're forced to detransition for work or you haven't even tried to look for the ones who are presenting masc. They're all over the sex work forums if you know what to look for and how they talk about it.
there is no "trans men aren't pushed into sex work" privilege. It is not a privilege to be forced into it AND have to detransition for it. This isn't a competition
I think a lot of "trans men aren't affected by this" stuff boils down to the trans men in question that ARE affected being deminished to not being men at all or being forced to detransition/pretend to be women

It's one of the only published works on the topic (in fact, I think it might be currently he the sole published work on the topic in English).
As a trans man who has done sex work in vairey of context both while girlmoding and after socially and medically transitioning, I found it to be an excellent collection of raw and honest writing by people whose stories are so often erased.

New research used an AI (note that this is a good use of AI to analyze data for research, not a LLM) to analyze over 45,000 recorded observations of coral reefs with the goal of finding locations where reefs were more likely to survive higher ocean temperatures into the future. Based on over 40 criteria, the AI model predicted at least 64,000 square miles of reef would be able to survive rising ocean temperatures into 2050 and beyond. That's about the size of Wisconsin.
Corals in these "coral refuges" had some combination of a faster rate of recovery, more heat-resistant species, and better protection from heat-related damage.
The study authors hope that their research can help guide more efficient allocation of limited coral conservation resources.
Although coral reefs face immense threat from climate change, our knowledge of coral conservation has increased by leaps and bounds in the last 20 years. Only two decades ago we couldn't breed corals in human care, now we have mobile coral labs that can breed thousands of coral in just a week. We can restore reefs faster and more successfully, and there are scientists working on breeding more heat-resistant coral lineages.
While a model is not a guarantee, this is another ray of hope that some coral reefs will naturally survive climate change despite the steep odds.
