Because for all that Taako tried to find a way to stop the Hunger during the Century, he was primarily concerned with the survival of himself and the other Birds. He wasn't invested in saving the worlds they encountered, because everyone on them was dust

But Lucretia's betrayal changed that. It forced Taako to live alongside the people he didn't care about saving, it forced him to build bonds with those people, because he didn’t know not to

And so he dated Kravitz. He tutored Angus. He handed out macarons for Candlenights.

And those connections, those bonds, are what forced him to think outside of the box. Because suddenly he didnt just care about saving himself and his family, he cared about saving the world. And it was that motivation that led him to come up with the idea that stopped the apocalypse for good. And it wouldn't have happened without Lucretia.

Let the historical record show that Mr. Beast was entirely ignorable if you were just like doing literally anything else. I've been on youtube as long as it's been around and I've never been recommended a video by him. I see him in passing as a meme. I thought he was a made up joke, a caricature of bad youtuber content miners until someone I trust confirmed his existence to me in late 2025.

My first confirmation that he was a real person and not a hoax or meme was the media reporting last year(?) on his Amazon show. In the context that it was dangerous and people were getting hurt.

Prior to that I literally thought he was a meme. Like Slenderman or Gonchorav. Never seen one of his videos and still haven't.
