You are aware that a fictional character is just a rhetorical construct designed to fulfill a narrative/thematic purpose right? That their actions are written by an author who wants to use them to explore complex ideas and moral gray areas within the safe confines of fiction right? That they aren't a real person who has killed real people right?
This is EXACTLY and PRECISELY the reason why I handle fiction very well and handle tragedies in media based on real events HORRIBLY.
I KNOW that in fiction they're fiction, they ain't real, it's just a narrative device, we chill. Then the thing is based on true events I have to sit with the fact that this was a real person, who suffered this thing, at the hands of this other horrible real person, and I can't do anything about that real suffering. I HATE IT.

All we know is that Sebastian Solas is a Chilean national who was charged with the murder of nine people. Since the death penalty has been banned in Chile ⸺ and throughout South America ⸺ since 2001, let's assume that Sebastian lived in the United States. Despite the fact that they socially often placed themselves above Mexicans or Peruvians, in practice they were still regarded as a racial and cultural minority. However, the vast majority of Chileans were in the U.S. legally, and direct deportation risks barely affected them. Still, due to the laws in effect at the time, Latin American ⸺ including legal residents and U.S. citizens of Chilean descent faced prejudiced treatment, and anyone with a Latin American appearance or accent could be subjected to document checks by police on the street.
From this, it follows that the haste in reaching a death penalty decision in Sebastián Solas's case may have been driven by plain racism toward his Latin American background, as well as possible public outcry and media pressure.
So I have heard and learned that Pressure is back in business. Apparently Ren lied about the document, Zeal is taking legal action (I'm guessing due to damages reasonably so) and development is planned to get back in business soon enough.
Outside of the fact that...the concequences of Ren's actions were terrible, I think this is amazing and hopeful news, and would like to spread the word :) give support to the new dev team, go play the game, and let's get back in business. (and here's a bedazzled render of da boys)

PSA to fan creators who don't have a lot of regular contact with children: They are almost always bigger than you think. A 1-year-old baby may already be walking. A toddler is likely already hip-high. A 10-year-old may already be taller than at least one of their parents. A 14/15 year old may already have reached their adult height.
To be fair- that's I'm guessing a good standard but there's exceptions. My family has this friend, and when we went to visit them once his 8 year old kid was shorter than my 6 year old sister- it was quite baffling but it still happens ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
