Yesterday, I remembered that Blåhaj means something about blue, so I asked my swedish friend, and she confirmed. I felt the need to find a suitable alternative for my partner's pink shork, so we started thinking. (She even contacted other swedish friends of hers to help)

Her first idea was Rosa Haj, which is cute, but don't roll off the tongue as well as Blåhaj.

Next idea: Småhaj. Grammatically incorrect, but sounds cute. Means "little shark". Honestly, good name for the smaller Blåhajs

Next is Skärhaj. Skär can mean a few things, but in the context of a shork it can mean reef shark or pink shark. Pretty good.

Next entry, which turned out to be liked by most people who got invested in the topic: Rosenhaj

So yeah, now we have a proper way to address pink shorks.

the answer is "because they don't think it'll make money." any time a corporation ever does anything it's because money. at this point, the Persona franchise revolves around pandering to a male audience, and so the devs have no confidence that diverting budget and development time to a female protagonist will return on investment. they simply don't think it would be worth the trouble. that's the long and short of it.
