As soon as he saw someone walk out of the shadows, James internally sighed to himself and started walking in her direction. He wasnt going to sleep anytime soon, that was for sure. He was required to work in a few hours, officially, in the auror program, though judging by how sluggish his body moved as he closed the gap of distance between the two— James highly suspected that he would be writing out an excuse here shortly. It was hazy, the area in which he was currently placed. After having a long night with no sleep, his eyes felt drowsy and his glasses werent helping much in seeing who was around. He continued on, in any case and halfway to the other person, James was just ready to just collapse. As he forced himself to continue on, however, James’ eyes slowly focused and he suddenly had the realization of who had joined him.
“Er— hello.” James replied awkwardly. He noticed the tangles in her hair but decided to let that pass without comment. “Not to be rude or anything, but what are you doing here? Did you get lost or something?”
Scratching the back of her neck Andromeda stepped closer, her steps unsure. She didn’t exactly get along with her cousin’s best friend: he was far too opinionated for his won good and she loved her hogwarts house to pieces no matter what anyone said.
“Not exactly. I was running. But... Right now I am not sure I should have bee running here, you know with you being here.... Nothing against you but it looks like trouble is coming.. is trouble coming?”
