Something i just wanted to say is that typing my thoughts and getting them to make sense in this format, is incredibly hard for me. I’m very articulate in person with my words, but typing i have to pause and wait and make sure I’m not being confusing. I’m very expressive with my facial and body language, so in talking to someone (having a conversation) i find it very easy to express myself. But typed words have no personality too me at least, internet talk is very hard for me to understand, so i cant tell if someone wants to come across as friendly, rude, annoyed just based on punctuation. I just wanted to say this as it took me a long time to write the poems i post and over work I’ve done either privately or for school.

Just want people to know that. Even if someone you follow, big or small, and you think they are the best writer or most amazing at what they do, we all struggle and all have our weak points

Look I don’t want to cater to anyones gaze for appearance, I want to wear what I want and feel cozy and confident in it

However, the dream look is in line with Aragorn pushing the doors in The Two Towers alright

Just this is pure attraction and confidence to me and I want it for myself

People are talking about how Leander will play a huge role in Ais route and possibly get super possessive and competitive with Ais over MC, but are we going to ignore the threat that is Vere?? He was getting a bit hmmm possessiveness over Ais in the 1-1 convo with MC: “you don’t know him. Not like I do.” And not to mention he showed signs of being romantically interested as well: (I thought you didn’t like most people), “Ais isn’t most people. He’s better.” Ok so Vere clearly feels a deep connection with Ais, and as far as we’re concerned Ais is the ONLY person that makes him feel this way in forever. If MC is suddenly brought into the picture in Ais route, how would Vere exactly feel? Replaced? Betrayed? Furious?

Now don’t get me wrong I’m all for a delicious love triangle any day I love the drama and angst that it brings, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Vere kills you in Ais’ route for getting too close, or at least there would be heavy implications that he hates seeing you getting too close with Ais because he thought he was the only that can get personal with Ais. I could see it playing out like Felix and Rime’s route in Last Legacy, but possibly less possessiveness from Vere; technically it was a friends with benefit’s relationship with accidental attachment. Actually scratch that. This is a horror gothic game, so it can take a dark-ass turn with Vere and Ais relationship. Vere over-stepping his boundaries and trying to kill you, then Ais going berserk and confronting Vere >:(. I just know that Vere isn’t going to back down without a fight cuz the moment I saw him blushing I knew. He might legitimately love Ais and I can’t blame him for wanting to kill us for him.

I know this was part if a joke but this is literally what I do when I’m overwhelmed or doing something new

My dad always says this time my family and all the rugby boys he coaches

I really want to already own a home

Like I want a massive garden with a giant tree and decking and plants, flowers just in the ground to be free

I want a fire pit for the autumn nights to roast marshmallows and drink rum with close family and friends that I welcome into my home

I want a set of double doors that open to the garden so that when it rains I can sit on the floor with a coffee and watch movies and YouTube while comforted by that specific coolness from the weather

I want to have friends come round with a glass of whatever they want, alcohol or tea or juice, while we talk for hours, baking and cooking together

And if it’s too late for them to safety drive home there’s always a spare room ready for them

I want to have a cat that can wonder in and out at will and a dog that I can talk on walks around my home

I just want a house but I don’t want to wait 10 ish years to actually own it

Thinking about Little Mister...

A wildfire spirit from the Elemental Plane of Fire, Born into Exandria by the flame resistant hand of a little mischievous faun. Literally pulled into the material plane out of a crevice of Thordak’s crater. When we meet Fearne and the Crown Keepers in EXU ep1, Little Mister is less than 2 weeks old! Fearne had recently passed over into Exandria from another world, probably finding comfort in a friend who was also new to Exandria. They must have looked at all the curiosities of this new plane with the same wonder-filled eyes. I’m thinking of them traveling together from one corner of Tal’Dorei to another with this crew Mister had known his whole life and then going all the way to Jrusar and Bassurus to help a friend find the killer of his husband. Then they entered a battle just like they had done a million times before. What gets me is that when Fearne died, he wasn’t directly by her side. what if he’d seen Fearne drop form across the sand whipped battle field? Didn’t even have time to run to her? As soon as she dropped, his planar tether was gone. Within a split second his flame must have fizzled out, as he was thrust out of Exandria, Back into the fire of that elemental plane. The fire wouldn’t hurt him of course, but he must have been alone very suddenly. No idea what happened to his other companions. No way to get back. No way to help Fearne…. I’m just thinking about Little Mister.

So I haven’t listen to any new stray kids album since no easy came out (I know I’m bad with listening to new music anyway)

But something I’ve noticed with my friends that do listen to K-pop is that they’re always shocked that I haven’t and f8 d it odd that I’m not as involved with K-pop in general as them and their K-pop friends (I only listen to strays and BYS really, do not come for me please)

So I was just wondering how many other people who listen to K-pop get slack from other fans for not being as involved as them or even being just a causal listener who’s just their for the music

the fact that society trains women from a young age to be excited about spending thousands of dollars on a dress they will wear in public once…feels a lot like cultural brainwashing

#it’s the capitalism stupid  #american wedding culture is absolutely toxic actually  #i don’t know how bad it is everywhere else but here it’s. hm. soul sucking 

#i’ve always thought instead of normalizing huge expensive fucking weddings  #(with all the financial and emotional pressure that puts on young couples)  #it should be more normal to have intimate weddings with close family and friends  #and then after maybe 10 or 20 years or whatever. when the couple has a longstanding stable relationship and hopeful financial stability.  #THEN maybe do a larger celebration if they want to.

#plus by then they will have accumulated close friends as a couple (friendship changes A LOT after your twenties)  #they can invite the friends and found family they’ve chosen over the course of their life together  #instead of like. your mom’s cousin you met once 5 years ago or whatever  #i think large celebrations definitely have their place especially in tightknit communities  #and the history of wedding celebrations across different cultures is super interesting  #but the Standard American Wedding is. hm. bad

I’ve got this feeling this is what it used to be. like ok my grandmas wedding? double wedding with her sister, semi matching blue linen dresses (hers with a red belt because she has always been Like That). no one was there except family, even then not many of them, and my grandpa’s family was still back east so they couldn’t make it (we been poor for generations lol).

and then their 10th and 25th and 50th anniversaries were big parties, getting bigger with every milestone. friends and family from before they were married, their kids and grandkids, friends they made as a couple from around the country

yeah I’m definitely wondering how normal a lot of modern wedding “traditions” would have seemed before the rise of magazine fashion culture, and (more recently) reality tv shows like Bridezilla and Say Yes To The Dress 

None of my older relatives have stories of enormous thousand-dollar wedding dresses. That and other extravagances feels more like a modern capitalist invention

My nana sewed her own dress in the mid-1960s, going so far as to go to the wedding dress department in Marshall Fields and measure the dress she liked so she could copy pieces of it.

I know during the 19th century, for all but the absolute wealthiest western brides, wearing your wedding dress as your “best dress” (or at least one of your regular Nice Dress options) for the rest of your life was pretty normal. not all wedding dresses were white- though, no, that trend did not start with Queen Victoria; she was just one of many celebrities who helped it gradually become an expected norm -and most of them were very fancy day dresses. not even what the era would understand as your most formal clothing

the idea that your wedding dress should be the most expensive dress you own and only worn once really is pretty new

Someone who loves you truly will always respect you. I was re-reading Pride and Prejudice and this is what occured to me.

Mr. Collins didn't love Lizzy and that's why didn't respect her decision of refusing his proposal. He kept on saying all kind of illogical things, trying to convince her to change her decision, wasn't at all discouraged by her and kept on pestering her to accept his proposal.

He didn't give in to Lizzy's resolve to refuse him. He didn't consider her determined and wise enough to make the best decision for herself. He kept on mistaking her refusal for the affectation and coquetry of an elegant female because he didn't hold Lizzy and her opinions in a position to be respected.

While Mr. Darcy, being truly in love with Lizzy, insulted her connections and status(he surely was very arrogant) but respected her decision of blatantly refusing him. He retrospected the events he was accused of and offered her an explanation but without pressuring her to change her mind. He again mentioned that one word from her would silence him on this subject forever. He believed her reasons for rejecting him and respected her decision.

He considered Lizzy's social status beneath himself but never doubted her intelligence or capability to make right decision for herself. He knew she was smart, accomplished and trusted her judgement. DARCY RESPECTS LIZZY.

WHO LOVES YOU, WILL ALWAYS RESPECT YOU.
