I just meant that I never really see the chest monster referenced in fics, so it feels like we’ve all collectively decided to ignore it 😅

Of course, I don’t speak for the hinny fandom and I’m sure there’s plenty of hinny shippers who are ambivalent towards or even like the chest monster!

I love the chest monster. I am dedicated to it. I don't always use it but I've definitely done.

Is it ridiculous? Yes but that's so the point. I think it shows off his possessiveness and jealousy without putting it in his head. He's not someone who thinks only him can be with her and she can't have a life without him but there is this part of him that he doesn't know how to work with that goes mine. I think it's a perfect representation of a hormonal teenager who never has felt quite like this but on the whole it doesn't represent who he is or how he feels about her but it shows off his desire to be with her and that it's a rather violent feeling that he is trying to suppress
