Times can be tough right now, especially with how the world is. It may feel as though being you is wrong, that your true self is something to be ashamed of, but that's because that is what everyone has been telling you your entire life. I swear to you, such hurtful words have no marit or standing ground when you find a community that will love and accept you no matter what. I am proud of you for choosing to stay. Whether it's because you have someone to live for, you made a promise, or simply because you don't have the energy to go through with such plans, I am insanely proud of you. No one deserves to feel like a monster simply for existing and being different than other people, and it not on you to change yourself just to appease others.

With pride months also comes men's mental health month!

We often gloss over men's mental health in favor of focusing on pride month, when both are extremely important!

You are not any less of a man for crying. You do not have to carry the burden of strength all the time. You don't have to be alone!

There are people everywhere who care about you and want to see the real you, and will cherish you whether you are being tough or needing to be held. No one deserves to feel less than for simply having emotions. You are more than the expectations you are held to!!

If you are struggling, reach out to someone. Friends, family, a professional, anyone at all.

I promise you, no matter what you believe, someone cares. We care.
