pet peeve: fan playlists that mischaracterize characters but also completely strip their identity and overuse music specifically from whatever they're from instead of making connections so i can see how the playlist creator interprets the character. please have hcs for characters beyond them dating another character. please god i am begging you let them be their own character or just make a playlist for the series as a whole instead with songs that make you think of it.

youngest brother has forced my other brother and i to watch two seasons of a show in two days and i literally told him today we are NOT watching a season per day because i do not want to spend upwards of six hours over the course of five days just. watching this damn show. i enjoy it but like im so tired. i want to have time to myself during the day and not feel rushed to do things i personally want to do before the clock ticks over to midnight and almost pass out in the middle of eating because i am worn out by not being allowed time alone. fuck.

ive been thinking about gifts you can give adults without complaint that kids never appreciate so heres a (short but) genuine list:

socks??? especially ones with fun/silly/goofy prints (or fluffy/striped ones if theyre cold and/or whimsical but not into patterned socks)

sheets/bedding (with receipt if they're the wrong texture/color/etc. so they can get something that works for them in that price range. i would genuinely be happy if somebody got me bedding for a gift)

CLOTHING (if you know wardrobe/fashion preferences and.or know of pieces they want but can't/won't get themselves)

furniture/room decor (hit-or-miss, but combine with the receipt for bedding in case it doesnt fit their visuals)

oops! i created a doggieverse au for my ocs where they are all Dogboys and Doggirls and now i have Cicero (puppy mill cross accident adopted by and rescued from the same character that traumatized him in main universe) and Malachi (purebred puppy being adopted out for all the wrong reasons and being abandoned) being a bonded pair of incredibly traumatized rescue pups, Ezekiel being a banned/retired showdog (he bit a judge out of stress and got "too friendly" with other entries multiple times), and Ave having the Most Normal Time of them all

i feel like i have to express that this relates to genuinely traumatic events nd how the brain processes them not "haha his sister's wedding sucked to experience" type shit. like how the worst night of Cicero's life took place outside in a public park and he can't stargaze because it sends him into panic attacks and vomiting spells.

might me the constant incandescent rage i experience at all times but i always read "smh" as "so much hate" until i was like 14 and saw someone type it out as "smh my head" and i still read it that way mentally. genuinely i thought people were like real angry at me all the time but no i was just real stupid
