Hypothetical situation: I have an LLC entertainment biz. And I have a DBA (my sw name) and this DBA is an employee of the LLC.

My legal govt name is the “owner” of the LLC. My DBA purchases some sw outfits & my LLC also purchases outfits, makeup, etc for the employees aka my DBA :)

Does the DBA write this stuff off, or the LLC?

Do I file taxes for both my LLC & DBA ?

Or would i better be suited with an S-Corp for this hypothetical situation ?

Ok first question I have right off the bat is : if I looked up said LLC I can’t find legal name yes? Because if that’s not the case, a client can search your llc, then find your associated legal name. Same to anyone else (vanilla people, friends family, bitter stalker) ; anyone who could do bad things with that info. (Out you, etc)

If you get an anon llc, it’s a non issue. No dba needed at all. Irrelevant.

The LLC is the entity that is being taxed, thus the LLC writes off any deductions for itself and employees (in your case said dba).

Your best case scenario: GET AN ACCOUNTANT. I personally use taxxx guy. He can help you set up everything, from the anon llc, to doing your taxes. But even before I started using them, I did a lot of research regarding how to best set this up. I have other businesses I set up this way on my own. If you’re a newbie or don’t feel comfortable I’d use him.

Have an anon llc. To cover your ass security wise. And elect to be taxed as an s Corp (especially if you’re bringing in decent-high money, which you should be as a sw. if you’re not, you need to re-evaluate your career choice lol (not trying to be mean)). There’s just a shitload of career choices that are less risky. If you’re gonna be a SW it should be to crush goals and make a shitload of $$$

Going forward right now: I would google your Llc and dba like a client would. See what comes up. If anything tying that llc and or dba to your legal name comes up, you better start yourself an anon LLC YESTERDAY!

And as a side note, if you took any SBA PPP (the aid from the government for businesses), you’re in some trouble. Legally you cannot use that funding for adult oriented businesses. That is when you will def need to consult legal/accountant.

y’all didn’t even add a tutorial of how to do this so imma put one right here 1. type in cmd.exe into your windows search and right click on Command Promt search result and select “Run as Administator”. 2. Type/Copypase in  net.exe stop “Windows Search” and make sure Windows Search is in quotations. It should then respond saying “The Windows Search service is stopping” and then tell you it’s stopped. This is only a temp fix though, if you want it switched off permanently then do THIS: 1.  Press the Windows key + R at the same time and type in services.msc. 2.  Scroll until you find Windows Search and double click it to enter its Properties window. 3.  Change the Startup type to Disabled. Apply this change and you can exit out. VOILA, NO MORE TAKEN UP DISK SPACE

i realised recently that mindlessly scrolling through instagram to avoid awkward situations where I have nothing to do and don’t want to talk to anyone is feeding my anxiety. Gift Ideas part II

- Vitamin subscription. There’s a few new businesses popping up that offer personalised vitamins delivered each month or so.

- Dance classes. If you say you want to take pole dancing/belly dancing classes and mention giving him a lap dance, he’s not gonna say no.

- Real estate agent connections. A previous daddy put in a good word and negotiated cheaper rent for me - this mainly works if he’s in real estate development/investments etc.

- Anything you can put on your resume, seriously. Get yourself at least one free course, an amazing letter of reference, a workshop, any certification. I’ve saved at least 10k with this.

- Professional photos & MUA. Most photographers offer paid shoots, tell him you want to have some cute pics to send him. Get some amazing beauty/lingerie/bikini shots and use them for your socials/apps whatever. *I don’t recommend posing nude*

- Paintings/artworks. If you know a little about the art world or are willing to learn, artworks can go up hugely in value so they’re a great investment. Wealthy people have their furniture and art included in the valuation of their homes, it counts as an asset.

- Good quality luggage. Designer/high end luggage is damn expensive but lasts a long time, when he invites you on a trip mention that your suitcase just broke.

- Gold. I’m torn on this subject because I’ve heard mixed advice, but with the collapse of environment/capitalism/end of damn days, it actually might be a smart move. The only jewellery worth asking for is gold or diamonds, the rest is worthless IMO.

Plastic surgery connections. Men in the medical field or in commercial/medical real estate will have these connections, you can probably negotiate yourself a good deal.
