Oooooh they’d all die…who do I think would be the least likely to die??? Who in the hermits has ever had to scavenge or hunt for food irl? Have any of them??? Hmmm… I feel like you asked me this for relationship reasons but I think I’m going to answer this on survivability. If you want to know relationship dynamic answers make sure to include that they have access to clean food, water and shelter. For the sake of this exercise if I use a hermit once I’ll remove them from my options.

1. Etho & VintageBeef: highest survivability likelihood. Etho’s rural living experience & Beef’s homesteading and farming experience means that they’d be the most likely to know how to safely organize shelter and hunt and safely clean and cook animals. I think the relationship on the island would be strained at times but eventually they would rely on each other so much that they would get over it.

2. Pearl & Bdubs: Pearl is like a natural savant at most things and very intelligent. I think she would draw on previous knowledge to make sound, well thought through decisions and if she freaked out Bdubs would comfort her and would also take her directions with ease. Plus Bdubs works out regularly so could be useful for activities that require lots of cardio.

3. Ren and False: I don’t actually think they would make it that long but at the very least we would get a romantic deathbed confession from ren after he puts himself in harms way or refuses to eat so false has access to more food. And then tragically the boat comes to save false in just a few days. So sad.

LEAST LIKELY TO SURVIVE:

3. Grian and Gem: whilst they’re originally glad to be together their personalities conflict and lead to one of them making a terrible decision that leads to untimely death. Only one of them is making it out.

2. Joehills and Joel: poor communication plus Joe makes some kind of looney toons ass contraption that drives Joel to try to make it on his own. They both die of improperly boiled water.

3. Mumbo & Scar: scar is dying pretty quickly without modern medicine and whilst mumbo is theoretically one of the strongest hermits physically, the death of his friend drives him to give up on what feels like a hopeless situation.
