There’s something about being home that just… settles something in you. You don’t realize how much you miss it until you’re there. See, that’s strategy! Prioritizing family time before the chaos hits, because once it does, there’s no hitting pause. I try to check in and make time whenever I can too. It’s been pretty nonstop on my end, but when everything slows down, I’m for sure heading home for a little reset.
Exactly, and I think sometimes it's just — something you really need. To just be home and really enjoy that all again, especially after being so busy with work. It was nice seeing family again, always recharges me in a way nothing else can. Then I feel I can be so refreshed to do it all. Been pretty busy with things as well? I'm hoping that all settles down soon if it hasn't yet.

No, not good things at all. I feel like when having family over, fighting and something breaking is up there for things you want to try and avoid. The year has been busy, but also good. I have a lot of exciting things happening and happening down the road, which I am really looking forward to.

It really is but we all know things happen we sadly don't plan for so for me, I might be more thinking a bit negative going in, but gives me something to celebrate when nothing goes wrong — even happy. Yes, can agree with that for myself as well. With work I'd imagine so a lot of Sadie work is coming, which is exciting.

Yes, exactly that and really, we're just looking out for them so I get sometimes looking our for ourselves can then be a bit tricky sometimes. Like putting others before yourself. Just have to do our best, really, yeah? Those — do make sense, and I've been seen with them all quite a bit, huh? They tend to yea, so it's not too much for either of us compared to some others but we have moments they do try to like — cater to these some for fans.
i'm curious - is being in a kpop group similar to like being in a boy band? so if i was ever lucky enough to have a moment with one of you guys, i can feel almost like i was in like backstreet boys or something? || @famexiaojun
It is, basically, yeah, I mean there's differences as being where the groups start and such, but yeah, probably for the most part, but — I'll admit, I never truly thought about such and now you have this easily all over my mind, haha. I mean, sure, I'd imagine, haha. Is that something you're interested in happening then?

I think also sometimes they do leave things out or unexpected happens in which case we should be able to do something to step back or something of the sort. I think that's a bit messed up and it should be opposite, being the leader there should be MORE worry. As the leader you'd go through more as the face of the group and such. We all need a helping hand sometimes. Yeah, we can try together, I'd be right beside you and you me. I'm the same way, and um — haha, I'm not sure, as I don't look, but you hear and quick see things sometimes.
We do! Our company needs to stop making us busy. I feel that. I swear I don't get to see the friends I have outside of work or even at the company. It makes me hope things slow down a bit more so we can all hang out again. I'm glad to hear that. I'm sure he enjoys doing the same with you. Hmm, I think I mess with Irene and Joy the most.
They do, but I believe we'll find a moment to figure this all out. I get it, I mean, I feel I'm lucky with seeing family when I do, but feels like outside work friends are a rare moment. Makes you appreciate them more when they happen, right? I hope so, I'm close to just announcing a break to make it happen, haha. That’s so good to hear! It sounds like it came at the perfect time, especially with how nonstop things have been. It’s been pretty hectic lately for me too, so I really felt that need for a reset. And going back home? Always the best. Do you get to do that often, or are you mostly on the road with touring?
It really did and it became just, everything for me and I had no idea it's what I needed, as sometimes you just into the flow of it all. I couldn't agree more. I keep in touch and see family when I can before we're into like releasing new music or readying for a tour as those times, I still kinda can. Otherwise, it'll take time but we keep in touch still. What about you?
So it was an experience, that's for sure. We didn't have a big fight that ended in something breaking in my place, so I take that as a win. I have to say, I think you won the ugly sweater contest. I thought I found some good ones, but you found the best ones. How has 2026 been treating you so far?

That's definitely a win, as fights are never fun and nor is something getting broken. Both aren't something I enjoy. Aww, thanks, haha! I'll have to keep this up with you, this was fun. I'm sure we will. Our companies just have to stop having us do things for a moment. Whatever works. I'd come see you as well. I can ditch the other members. They'd understand, haha. They wanna see you too. It would be fun. It was nice honestly. Plus it made the holidays less lonely and we could confide in each other. Alright, I'll plan a trip for us. We can spend time with China together for a bit. We can even drag Jun around as well if he's not busy being an actor.
Whenever a chance comes up we'll have to take it. I'm keeping tabs for even a couple days to do something at this point. As would mine, but they'd want to know how things went as they're so nosy, haha. Yes, I agree. Yes, I'd really like confiding in each other. Oh, I feel that! The holidays really do a number on you, don’t they? Mine was pretty good! I finally got a little time to unwind and be with family, which felt really nice. How did yours go? Were you able to go back home? Honestly, my apartment barely got decorated this year… normally I’m all lights and sparkle, but this time it was very Grinch chic.
They do and recovering is no joke! Yes, same here and it was everything I needed with how much I'm with my group and working. It was amazing and I did go back home, had the best time. I decorated a lot with my group were we stay, but doing such together is probably what helped most.

Gosh, I would love to -- but I feel like everybody has a podcast these days, so much so that having a podcast in and of itself is like a meme now. Do you have a favorite decoration you look forward to getting out and hung up at all? Anything sentimental?
You're not wrong about that. I think it's why I haven't done one even if I have ideas I think would be so great for one. I also heard some YouTubers host there videos on Spotify as well, almost like a podcast to listen but there's a watch option too. Seems interesting to me. I have this star decoration I always put on the fireplace or in the middle of a dining table that's apart of my family. Always excited to bring it out every year. What about you?
