Judai/Jaden should've suffered a lot of damage from Bonds Beyond Time alone. Should not have been standing as straight up as he was.
I can still see him being upright. Because that's just the kind of person he is. If this motherfucker were shot he would've laughed it off and kept going.
His coat should've had damage to it though, there's no fucking way that he was wholly uninjured. Holes in it, tattered, singed. His hair also should've been singed.
He is resilient, But he's not wholly unkillable. His jeans also should've been fucked up immensely.
What kinda clothes are you wearing Judai/Jaden??? You were shot at by Cyber End Dragon directly before this and then Rainbow.
And then fucking Stardust. You can't tell me this didn't do severe damage, because none of these are Holograms. If they were holograms the damage done would've gone away the minute Paradox went 'so long losers I have one more thing to do' and then fucked off to Yugi's era.
This is some Dragon Ball Z esque damage.
If this were realistic (which ive noticed that Yu-gi-oh despite being made for teens seems to avoid like the plague) he would've been bleeding, here. He acts like he's taken damage from at LEAST the wall behind him that he was thrown into with the force of some kinda bomb.
Honestly, he is very lucky that Yusei came when he did. I have no doubt that the last attack that Stardust made would have killed him.
No more Judai Yuki. Don't pass go, don't collect 200. Plain and simple. He came so close to dying this day. Which, in the life of this Slifer.... Probably comes close more often than he'd like to admit.
Like yeah sure, you could argue that Neos being his shield negates most of the damage that he took. ... And i'd be inclined to agree with you. ......... To a point. He still acts as though he's being hit, despite being protected by his Duel Monster.
... Now I'm kinda wondering if this goes deeper. If he's wounded on a more spiritual level due to this. Minus the being hit into a wall thing, I'm wondering if because of Neos his soul has been hurt and frayed because of these attacks. But we'll never know the answer I guess because it's kinda glossed over and he tells Yusei that he's fine.
But at this point, we should know never to believe Judai when he says he's fine, right?
