RY clearly stated that there would be a betrayal in onyx storm and everyone has suspected Brennan (rightfully so) and expected something major to happen and a big confession, but I think it's more than that.

she said there would be a family betrayal and there's not a lot of those to choose from. there are the sorrengail siblings, riorson-durran, dain and his father (that ship has long sailed) and rhihannons family but somehow at the end of onyx storm xaden talks about someone turning venin

How could he do this? Choose this after watching me stumble and fall over the last five months.

and since we know it isn't vi or imogen it leaves us with garrick and bodhi. and since garrick was with imogen he couldn't have turned unless he did it prior to finding imogen but then again she would have noticed the red rimmed eyes which brings me to my next point

Family Betrayal

I think it's Bodhi who turned and Xaden clearly considers it as a betrayal. which is a betrayal and he feels like that too when he says "how could he do this?" That's his only living family he has left and now he's well.. venin?

Furthermore we know from Imogens chapter that bodhis dragon was severely hurt

did something happen to Bodhi's dragon to the point he had to turn venin to survive and if so why? and last why would he marry violet out of nowhere unless he had no choice but to do so, in order to keep his family's seat and not let Navarre give it to someone they can control.

It’s an interesting theory, thou I’m still leaning towards Garrick being the one who turned.

He was with Imogen, but he left. On top of that, at the end, he is one of the riders that are missing. It could be a set up, so me don’t suspect Bodhi, since he was not mentioned, but I’m pretty sure Imogen was there as well, and maybe messed with her in memories…

Onyx Storm Spoilers Theory

I think Xaden did not draw power from the earth at the end of the book. We know from Iron flame that Violet's signet is power and I believe that Xaden in the end drew power from her and gave her the remaining parts of his soul, that is why Tairn was exhausted at the end and why Sgael told Xaden that Tairn would have to forgive him.

Fuuuuck my life, that book was something!!! I’ve read it only once for now, and it will take time to settle….

Buuut, I’m only giving a few points that are spoilers, and some hopeful thinking.

DAIN and SLOANE!!!!! Like AAAAAAAAAAH!!!!! Two ppl u would never put together, and now I cannot for the love of everything holy think of them with anybody else!!!! Dain leaving HIS fucking post to follow her. And her middle finger to him when she was leaving…. It’s like history repeating itself! BUAHAHAHAHA

I love Violet POV, but Rhis and Imogens were cherry on top of the cake!!! Gods, I hope we will have more of them in future books. Especially since I’m sure Garrick is the one next to Xaden at the end of the book!!! That’s all I’m saying.

I WAS RIGTH ABOUT HER SECOND SIGNET!!!! Done!!!!

Now this is a Theory!!!! A very wild one at that!!!! By now, we know the sexuality of most of the main characters and/or the ppl they like/are in love with. The only ones that have not been mentioned in that context (or I’ve missed it, do correct me if I’m wrong) are Bodhi and Aaric. Now here is where my theory comes to life. Imagine RIDOC ending up with either one of them. I’m pretty sure Aaric will end up being the king, and him marrying Ridoc will make Ridoc a king as well! KING OF FUCKING NAVARRE!!! If that happens, I’m done for. I will be the first person to die from laughing!!! And him and Bodhi???? Anhahahhaha. Xaden would probably end up killing himself after surviving everything!!! Yup. Absolutely ending himself.

Lucien and Elain are soooo Kovu and Kiara coded from Lion King 2.

Elain will have to come to Lucien after she's ignored him for so long. Just like how Kiara had to be the one to bridge the gap between Kovu and her.

The scar on Kovu face 💯 matches Lucien. Kovu got his by his "mom," who was the bad guy, scratching his face. Lucien got his by Amarantha scarring him with a fingernail.

The way Kovu was thrown out of well two places, but he still ended up with his other half. The way Lucien has essentially been through two courts and will eventually settle with his other half, Elain.

The way Kovu supports Kiara, let's her be her, and is by her side even in dangerous situations. The way Lucien would be the same for Elain. He'd support her and allow her to be herself and be by her side even in dangerous situations.

And you can't tell me this isn't how they'd be together. Elain looks lovingly at Lucien as Lucien experiences something exciting, or even the other way around.

The way the mating bond works.. Lucien and Elain will be one. Just like Kovu and Kiara.
