As somebody who has fallen deeply in love with the idea of having physical copies of her favorite fanfictions, just downloading the Ao3 raw forms and printing those out causes me physical pain. There are always, no matter how beautiful the fic is, spelling/grammar mistakes, and the formatting is just...ew.

Because, in my eyes, it seems like Nikolai will only choose Zoya now as his second choice. 

In the books, it was more obvious Alina was a means to an end for him and that he wasn’t in love with her. But the show indicates that he is in love with her, so anything with Zoya now I think will feel like second hand. 

I’d love to hear your thoughts!

I mean obviously Kanej is endgame but I can only see Inej / Tolya (Tolnej? Inya?) being a good thing for Inej’s character development. We’ve seen so little of her backstory and this seems like a great way to explore her trust & physical touch issues in a way that sets up Kanej properly
