Hi everyone, my name is Pine! I'm trying to earn some extra cash to help with bills and opened a Etsy store. At the moment these are the graphics I have available, but am intending on adding more. They are printed on glossy 4 x 6 photo paper and are great desk decorations by themselves or framed!
A two page comic rendition of @darth-grips ‘s fanfiction ‘Helplessly Hoping’! This is from Ch. 18.
I have been a fan of the story for a while now and took it as an opportunity to practice my comic making…… i tried my best with the colors, it’s not my forte😖
I had to alter some of the words to fit the comic format, but all writing and story is credited to darth-grips! I just did the drawings. There’s way more context in the story itself.

it is funny that the climatic moment of the first six star wars movies hinges on luke cutting off vaders hand and going…wait…..i’ve become just like him….the cycle stops now…..meanwhile there’s his mentor spiders kenobi who cuts off 1000 limbs a day and dgaf. i’m not saying obi wan is evil but u have to admit that’s funny
i am begging people in these notes to stop explaining the basic plot of star wars to me like i somehow wrote this off instagram reels knowledge alone
How fast does Grogu’s fuzzy hair grow and who cuts it
Who cuts Luke’s hair and would Din be mad if they messed up his bangs
Din has had to cut his own hair his whole life but what if Luke volunteered, blindfolded, claiming he’s one with the Force and could do it with a lightsaber if he really wanted to that was a joke din come back
Din shaves off his mustache and Luke senses a disturbance in the Force from a totally different planet
Luke and Din frowning at Grogu, who’s in a high chair, and they’re like well we can’t trim all of it off he’ll be bald. Balder. It’s really like, ear hair management to be honest. Aw. Grogu like, yelps, and Din has to distract the little womp rat while Luke gets the job done as quickly as possible.
So.... I drew a lot. Um. I knew I was gonna go fuck wild with the final illustrations for the final chapter but this was a bit... over the top. And yet. Got in a basic gif, a basic illustration (callback to the doodle from Chapter 3), 5 pages of comic panels, and a looping animation. Totally worth it. I am probably done with any serious drawing for a month (besides the one I promised to do that's a companion to Lightning Luke) but man. I am so glad for the opportunity.
Anyway. The final chapter of The Suns is now live and also features a ficmix.
