He’s canonically a sadomasochist and I have had so many thoughts about that. It lowkey annoys me how there are a million fics of him being sadistic and next to nothing of him enjoying getting roughed up.

Coyle loves hurting others. Of course he does. He wouldn’t be a prime asset if he didn’t. However, I think he is so effective in the trials because he also thrives off of the reagents that fight back.

He loves the bottles best. The sting of the glass shards cutting him is nice, to say the least. The sound is so loud, too.

Bricks are perhaps his second favorite despite all the fandom memes. They hit hard and crumble quickly. They give him headaches, though.

Stun Rig is… I’ll say it depends on the day and his mood. He hates feed so vulnerable on a bad day. Sometimes, he fantasizes about a reagent taking advantage, though.

He absolutely despises the Jammer Rig when it’s used on him. It makes him nauseous and forces him to puke, and I think he hates puking.

Pitcher

Pitcher is a pyromaniac in every way. I can imagine very easily a scene of him flirting with a reagent that he fancies by throwing a molotov at them and walking through it. The flames lick at his legs through his clothes, and he shivers despite the heat. I think he’d stand in the flames while kissing his partner if he could. He’d cook himself alive if he could share it with someone.

Sometimes, while alone and frustrated, I think he holds flames close to his inner thighs. The burn is arousing, along with the threat it brings.

my favorite expop ship is Berserker x Screamer, but i wonderrr... who else would make a great partner for Screamer?

Let me think…

Screamer is a sweet boy in my interpretation of him. I don’t think many canon characters would be able to even be his friend, much less be his lover.

Having said that, I do have a few ideas. Berserker is one of the most common pairings in my opinion. It works so well because of their shared sensitivity to loud sounds.

But, I think Pitcher and Screamer could eventually work out. It would be a slow burn(pun unintended). Pitcher physically cannot talk due to damage to his vocal cords. I imagine they both use ASL, so it would start with Pitcher just desperate for someone to talk to, even if Screamer might fall asleep on him mid conversation.

Another odd pairing would be Leland and Screamer. Now, hear me out… I am completely biased, yes. BUT, I was writing a silly fic for myself where Leland actually helped hot wire Screamer’s headset for a quick field fix after a reagent broke it with a brick. Maybe Leland fjs enjoys having a guy who won’t fucking yap his ear off… Screamer despises how loud he can get, but Leland chases away all the noisy reagents for him.

And, as a final option, I think the Pouncer and Screamer could be a cute couple. I’m imagining Pouncer purposefully hiding near wherever Screamer sleeps. He’s never tried to do anything to hurt her. He’s quiet and seemed almost as terrified of her and she is of everyone. So, she starts staying near him. She hides and when a reagent gets too close, looking to bother either of them, she pounces and attacks.
