Hello fellow satyr. Recently I've been trapped in a little circle of identity and not Feeling human. I strongly adore satyrs and deers, and I've come to conclusion that i am a satyrkin. I just wanted to ask how does it feel like to be one and what are the requirements

Well, there really aren’t any requirements. It just feels like I am very connected to satyrs, and that I am one, but with the wrong legs, and no horns of course, haha.

I feel very attached to nature and animals, they seem to like me back. It is like we are the same. When I see satyr images or storys, I feel as if we are one, and they are my family/close friend.

Do you also share these? If you do, and you truly feel like a satyr inside, chances are, you are!

fyi, having music autoplay is really kind of disorienting and stressful to some people so it would be for the best if you edited your theme and changed 'autoplay':true to 'autoplay':false in your blog code. thanks!!

There are plenty of different meanings for otherkin, but this is the most common one, and the one I agree with most:

Otherkin is the spiritual belief that you are connected to and identify as an animal/creature (even myth). You identify as it and sometimes astral project it onto yourself (meaning you can feel some of it's limbs or so at times). Sometimes it can be caused by mental illnesses, but in my case it is simply spiritual.

Hi. :3 Are you supposed to have pink and red things falling on your blog? I'm not sure if you're aware but they're zooming down your blog at the speed of light, nearly scared the daylights out of me! >w< I figured they might be hearts or flowers or something though and maybe not supposed to fall that fast. Wanted you to know in case it was a mistake~

Having a connection to a species is actually called being other-hearted, whilst identifying as something is called being otherkin. The concepts get confused a lot but those are the definitions. Being other-hearted is just as valid as being otherkin (and you can take just as much pride in it) and one isn't better than the other, personally I am both. ^u^ I'm not saying you are otherkin or you are other-hearted but I just wanted to make sure you know the distinction to avoid future confusion.
