Sunday, July 5th: Hello, everyone. I’m Gem, a bi, mentally ill, and multiple disabled woman in desperate need of help, as I'm struggling to pay my bills this month!!
I apologise for asking for help again. As most of you know from my previous posts, I have been struggling to make ends meet while on welfare. And due to my outstanding bills and ever-increasing debt, it has been difficult for me to get by. These past few months have been absolute hell, and with no other income, I've been relying on the kindness of others to get by.
However, I desperately need that kindness again, as I wasn't able to pay my bills last month, because I was behind on my rent, and I'm struggling quite a lot to pay them now. I owe a total of £155.76 in bill payments and fees, which is due before I receive my welfare, which I don't receive until the 31st!!
Again, I know this is a lot to ask, but if anyone could spare any amount to help me, even if it’s just £1/$1/€1, it would mean a lot, and sharing helps just as much.

Friday, July 3rd: Hello everyone, I’m Gem, and I’m setting up a crowdfunding campaign for my sister Cheryl. Her Universal Credit has been sanctioned for 91 days, and she urgently needs support to get through the rest of this month!!
As stated in my previous post, my sister, who is in her 30s and autistic, recently caught the flu. While she was unwell, her unemployment advisor requested that she submit her CV for a job application. Unfortunately, due to her illness, this important task slipped her mind, and she ended up applying a few days later than expected. As a result, she has been sanctioned for 91 days, until July 15th, leaving her with a total welfare payment of £0 for all of July.
Thankfully, U.C will still pay her rent while under the benefit sanction. However, she is currently facing financial difficulties and lacks the funds to pay her other bills, purchase groceries/pet supplies, and keep her utilities on. She is STILL awaiting word back from an appeal regarding the sanction.
I know this is a lot to ask, but if anyone could spare any amount to help my sister and me get by, even if it’s just £1/$1/€1, it would mean a great deal, and sharing helps just as much.

This is transmisogyny. You are knowingly portraying trans women as irrational here. This phenomenon is not a thing— people headcanon male characters as transmasc ALL the fucking time, and no one cares. I’ve seen top surgery scars edited onto just about every dude from any media ever. You know good and goddamn well that you are able to headcanon men as trans men without pushback from trans women. The PROBLEM is when a character is clearly transFEM coded, and y’all try to downplay that to push your transmasc head canons.
This is clearly someone who got pushback on their trans man headcanon of a transfem-coded or female character, and when people said “hey why can’t you meaningfully engage with this character as a woman” they threw a tantrum and acted like the mean nasty women said they can’t have any headcanons ever because they’re oppressed for being a man. you are so exhausting

The Conservation Bill.

This bill attempts to allow private sales of conservation land, potentially up to 60% of Aotearoa's conservation land would be available for private purchase. This will be devastating for our conservation efforts. Instead, urge for more protections of our conservation land.
Move On Orders Amendment Bill
Make a submission urging officials to reject the bill here.
This bill will allow persecution of unhoused and homeless people across Aotearoa. It allows the penalization of 'disorderly and disruptive behaviour', which includes: unreasonably obstructing entry to a trade or business, breaching the peace, begging, rough sleeping, or indicating an intent to inhabit a public place. This is a direct attack on vulnerable people, with the additional punishment of potential jail time and <$2000 fine. Instead, urge the government to fix the infrastructure perpetuating homelessness, such as lack of government housing and the cost of living crisis.

I apologise for asking for help again. As most of you know from my previous posts, I have been struggling to make ends meet while on welfare. And due to my outstanding bills and ever-increasing debt, it has been difficult for me to get by. These past few months have been absolute hell, and with no other income, I've been relying on the kindness of others to get by.
I desperately need that kindness again, as there was a huge thunderstorm where I live, and my power went out for 7 hours, leaving the food in my fridge unsafe to eat. I desperately need help to replace it, and my electricity is about to go onto its emergency credit. I don't receive my welfare until the 30th!!
