Maybe one day her culinary skills will improve to a point where her friends would allow her in their kitchen to cook for them. Until then, she would just keep practicing!

For the past few days, Yukiko was busy with decorating the Amagi Inn for the summer festival. According to the booking list for the Inn, they were going to be packed with guests. Most hadn’t arrived yet, which left Yukiko time to prepare for the festival herself. She knew she needed to get a new kimono - as her last one was getting a bit worn. But she wondered if the others were going to be attending the festival.

Going through her phone, she messaged Chie first, only to get a quick message saying that she was busy with a day out with her mother, which she respected. She knew from her brief conversation with Rise the day before that she was going out of town to see a special tailor for her kimono. Which only left Naoto.

A warm smile graced her lips at the thought of her detective friend wearing something beautiful for the festival. She would look so gorgeous in a kimono. Without a second thought, she sent a text to her.

A faint flush brushed over her cheeks as she looked over to Charlie. The headache she was suffering from after their school trip caused her memories to be a little foggy. However, there was one thing she remembered that caused her cheeks to flair. It couldn’t be true...could it?

“H-hey so...I vaguely remember that we played the Kings Game..but..I’m having a hard time remembering everything about that game. I didn’t do anything embarrassing or unlady-like, did I?”

Upon hearing that there was a new guest in her family’s inn staying for the evening, Yukiko took the responsibility to welcome them as her parents took care of other guests. Bowing her head slightly as she donned a pink flora kimono, she greeted him with a small smile.

“Welcome to the Amagi Inn. I will be your hostess, Yukiko. Please follow me and I will show you to your room for the evening.”
