Hello tumblr, long time no see!
Just here to announce to the world that Aska is officially a teenager, as she turned a whole 13 years old yesterday. She's doing very well, her arthritis has gotten pretty rough but she's on Librela now and managing well.
She says hello and hopes everyone's well! 💖

It’s been seventy-fuck years
I made this tumblr when I was like... fourteen? Like it goes back to 2009 I think. I sifted through and I THINK I deleted all my anti-sjw far-right fundamentalist christian bullshit.
Like, yes, I am ashamed of it. Not trying to erase that I was like that, I will fully admit it, but it’s all this icky sticky feeling that I wasted so much of my life being that way. I’m almost 30 and it’s not so much cringe as it is, how to put it? - like I feel lighter. Holding all that hate and disgust in weighs you down. Overcoming the way you were raised is humbling and there’s a whole lot of shame involved, but once those bigoted tendrils are scraped off like spider-webs, you kinda just have to take a big ‘ole breath of fresh air.
Oh and there was all that misdiagnosed mental illness to work through too. That’s a hefty work-in-progress. Being in an abusive relationship for three years didn’t help, then taking on a job field that just guaranteed PTSD was a super smart move.
