My animation process (in a GIF!)
So you've learned the 12 principles of animation but don't know where to actually apply them? Fear not!! For here is my step-by-step process, very very condensed, into one singular giant GIF.
Hope it helps!
(You may need to open it in a new tab to read the text)
This is truly phenomenal @elviraaxen! Thank you for creating this!
New wip of something I just made haha
I finished the sketch version like end of october, rough month, so I just went and finished this little test in one go, could have been better, but I also just want to move to the next project without this sitting around unfinished.
Watch it on Youtube: https://youtu.be/cUk4OB161wA

Just finished making it.
And another day of animation practice, this time featuring my fursona, because you know, might as well not always use stick figures.
A wip, just for practice, I haven't spaced out the movements yet. May or may not finish, but here you go, a lil Pokémon animation.
Animation practice exercise.
Will be those quite a lot, to practice spacing and slow in/slow out and so forth. This is the first one with 12fps, so I wanted to post it.
Animation study/practice!

Yes I just looked at google images lol. I could not be bothered otherwise.
Quick remake of an old animation. It is literally just 2 seconds lol.
And another practice attempt.
Tbh honest, probably should already have it stretched and not ball form in beginning, to make it proper, but otherwise, very happy with this attempt.
It’s 12 FPS and done in Krita.
Practicing animation again, wanted to see the squash-stretch animation.
Will be practicing that before moving to the next principles of animation.
Enjoy!
Tutorial: Making the Shot - Pleasant Surprise (Complete Pack)
Hey everyone! So for the past few weeks, I’ve been releasing my first video tutorials regarding making an animated shot from scratch - to its final image. I decided to put them all in one Post so its easy to find! The shot is a remake from a film I did years ago, Crayon Dragon. I hope you guys find this useful in the future! Also if there’s some topics you’d like me to cover, please send them over here! [email protected] I’ll also try and post tutorials and tips on sbworkshop.tumblr.com so I can just focus on adding my art on my own blog.
The shot we’ll be making:
Now here are the video tutorials in order.
1. ANIMATION
2. COLORING (LINELESS STYLE)
3. LANTERNS, EFFECTS, EXPORTING, MISC.
4. BACKGROUND PAINTING
5. FINAL COMPOSITING
Happy new year!
I have a good feeling about this year, so I wish as all the best of luck for 2023.
