It’s not about who wants you. It’s about being with someone who values and respects you, inspires you, and enhances your life.
Allow yourself to acknowledge your every small progress even with the slow walk you have taken these past few weeks. You may not be able to see how much you are actually improving but you are doing great regardless of how far you have gone.
Even when you think there is too much for everything and even if you oblige yourself to work incessantly to meet the demands of being an adult, know that you can always unload and recharge. These may be one of those emotionally and mentally draining days, but better days are coming for you and when they come and knock on your door, it no longer feels heavy anymore. Every phase has something to offer.

in your 20s, you’ll take the lead yourself. it’s a tug of war between comfort and change. your throat will feel like drowning as your feet shiver right before it pushes you off the cliff. you’ll resist it: silence your potential, hide your shine, never take off your shell, and protect yourself from stepping on the creak of risk. but you’ll never avoid this pressuring transition of growing up, and even if you hide from your battles—your battles will pick you up as it cornered you into a hard life, because not risking is the biggest risk. it will leave you no choice but to surrender and let your hands up as you open the door to put yourself out there— or else you’ll get stuck in a rut, devoured in cyclical bouncing back and getting pulled back by gravity over and over again, and your grief will bloom from the guilt of not living life enough.
so you’re allowed to disappear but not to sink completely. you need yourself out there: even if it means to become vulnerable connecting yourself to the world. even if the echo chamber in your head is opposite to believe you’re capable. to venture yourself for a giant leap of faith on the way to the best version of yourself.
it won’t be easy but i want you to know that it’s not all about your shaken present self, the pounding alarm in your stomach, or the rising pressure in your heart as it pleads for an easier beating—it’s also about the new-found spark of belief within you, the face of the other side of this tunnel, the new you.
