LAMB.

The other day i purchased two pounds of lamb from a local butcher to find out, find out how it tastes and maybe experiment with the meat, make new dishes to break the pork-chicken-beef cycle.

Deep fried the shoulder and it turned out very well, very soft and lots of lard which went down well with the dry steamed riced. Casual bit of salt (i like the taste of meat as is so i try to season as little as possible) while it was cooling down helped with the flavour. While having this i felt that something was missing so i done sliced up a tomato and had it with the meat. Gave some to my mother on top of garlic fried rice, she did not say anything about it.

The next day i go to do chores, now I’ve never had lamb before so i was anticipating any new sensations such as being scared of dog barks or jumping over fences, you know things that goats do. The effects were not what I thought they would be.The effects of this meat made me feel weak and soft like a baby goat that still can’t walk on its own. It felt very funny like making a fist right after you wake up.

i ate my first self made bun at the age of twenty six, the next day i had some meat from ribs and it tasted very slimy. Not certain if it was the way they were cooked (the ribs) but somehow bread is taking away from meat. Strange loss of value in trade for variety.
