I like messy people; people who don't fit in a box or stay between the lines, but whose integrity is greater than any rule book and whose loyalty is stronger than blood.
Jim Wern

"What? He attacked me first! If you look at the camera footage, you'll see everything." Clary huffed in annoyance as a female cop tried to restrain her. "Yeah, yeah. Save it for when we're at the precinct." The woman spoke firmly. "It was self defense and you know it! That creep has been stalking me for weeks." The Shadowhunter hissed, squirming within the Mundane's grasp. "Get your hands off me." It wouldn't look good if she attacked an officer, but Clarissa didn't see any other options. Without warning, she turned and headbutted the other woman as hard as she could, wincing from the impact. "Sorry, but I have no intention of going to the station." She inhaled sharply and pulled her stele out of her jeans pocket. A steady hand guided the tool over the healing rune that had been etched into her pale skin.
