My art
I am starting this new blog and closing my previous one. Here are some pixel art from my personal projects Ghouls in the Neighborhood and Smoshiball:
My lovely projects Ghouls in the Neighborhood and Smoshiball are on halt, but I will work on them again! ❤️
The blog has new location!

Duck playing - look at these neat effects:
When the character is controlled by the AI, my first approach was using raycasts, but they are now replaced by triangular shapes. The same effect, but more efficient. The purpose is to detect if the disk is going in direction of one of the goals, and if it’s going to the goal the AI must defend, the AI will go to the disk and hit it.
As you can see, this duck is lonely and has no friends, because the programmer still didn’t make the code for them >:(
Have a nice day! :)

smoshiball #1 - long time!
Long time since I posted anything!
Many things happened since last post: Ghouls is on halt, and I’m not using my custom engine. And here is something that I’m doing:
It’s a little game inspired on Sanrio Smashball (SNES). I started the development this Friday (December 23, 2016) and I have a lot done already!!!
I will release for at least Linux and Windows on Itch.io.
Peace,

News
I’m currently working on a new game. Ghouls in the Neighborhood will be on halt, since it’s a big project and will take time. This new game will have a smaller scope and I hope to release it really fast. Once released, I will work again on Ghouls.
I will return with updates later!

Welcome!
I finally thought of a good name for the first town.
egg engine - game engine with lua language
I want to release this engine in the future, so I will post progress with screens of its project manager. I call it Egg Engine. A long time ago, I decided to make my own game engine. I had my failures, I learned, and I finally made a great game engine I'm proud of. I use this engine to make my game Ghouls in the Neighborhood. It works on Linux, Mac and Windows. I may target other platforms in the future. The core of this engine was written in C, using portable libraries such as: Lua, GLFW, OpenGL, OpenAL, Vorbis, LodePNG, ENet.
All the game is coded in Lua. The various functionalities of these libraries are passed to modules which the game developer can access. Yet, the most important feature of this game engine is its package system, which make easier for the developer to create save files or even create expansion packs for its game. Now, I'm working on the graphical user interface of this builder, and is more like a project manager. This means it doesn't include a editor for code, maps, sounds or such. I let the user choose his/her favorite tool.
