I genuinely think every one of us who has to deal with chronic pain in winter deserves a limitless budget for fluffy blankets, comfy pajamas, and hot beverages of our choices.
Friendly reminder, if you don’t take a break, your body will take one for you.
As evidenced by me getting sick the second I feel as though I have stopped being extremely stressed from work and have time to relax :,D
I think that it's really important for people to realize that being disabled is traumatic. genuinely. your body and brain feel like they are breaking down and wrong. you are in constant heavy stress from stuff like chronic pain. most disabled people i know have a somewhat regular emotional break down from the trauma of it all. and we are expected to just smile through it by society, to not be in the way, to not be an issue.
this year… literally what the fuck was that <3
I will reblog this every Christmas season I’m on tumblr.
It’s beginning to look a lot like shit scram
Every now and again I get reminded that the normal amount of daily pain is zero, and that still blows my mind every time... You have days without pain????
Medical condition: gets worse without sleep
Medical condition: makes it harder to sleep
there's something so raw and soul crushing about spending your late childhood+teen years suicidal then growing up and actually wanting to live, after an ungodly effort, only to see your health deteriorate because of chronic illness.
Me this week:
My controversial opinion is that I think chronically ill people should be able to fight one doctor a year
“slut era” i whisper to myself as i rot in my bed, sick like a frail victorian child
This is me.
Wishing all undiagnosed/partially diagnosed people a very doctors listening to you and providing you with more testing than a blood draw and even possibly providing treatment 2024
My favorite game since I started developing physical disabilities is playing
Is this new pain forever, or is it just an injury this time?
whenever something new starts hurting :)
