White people get so angry at the phrase, âYou cannot be racist towards white people.â I will never understand why. Why are you so angry that you are being treated as actual human beings? You are not reduced to caricatures, but portrayed as characters. You are treated fairly, judged not by your skin tone, but by the ways that you carry yourselves, by your actions. Why do you want to experience racism so badly? It is not fun to be mocked, dehumanized, attacked, killed, incarcerated simply for daring to exist. It is not fun to know nothing of your history or family because it was torn apart, whether through distance or death. It is not fun to hear, at every turn, comments reminding you of your lesser status as humans. Do you really want to turn on the tv, open a magazine, watch a movie, play a video game, and not see yourself? Or, even better, to only see yourself as a criminal, as a drunk, a mocking stereotype, or as someone to be killed off? Or would you rather see fleshed out, well-written characters with lives and personalities and feelings? I know which Iâd rather pick. If I were a white person, the phrase, âYou cannot be racist towards white people,â would be the best thing I could ever hear.

Imperfection: You could actually work super hard, and give everything you have and lose, it was the best message for me, the reality is sometimes you lose, and youâre never too good to lose, youâre never too big to lose, youâre never too smart to lose, it happens, and it happens when it needs to happen, and you have to embrace those things.

Do you have any tips on learning the basics of Hinduism?
It is a major tenet of Hinduism that the best (and only) way to truly learn is to find a guru and devote yourself to bhramacharya, or the dharmic life of studying. However, if finding a guru is too difficult, I have to recommend the Encyclopedia of Hinduism as an invaluable asset.
Hinduism is such a vast cultural system itâs more of a way of life than a religion, and the Encyclopedia of Hinduism does its best to encompass a full range of subjectsâincluding history, civilization, culture, art, architecture, music, dance, medicine, and spirituality.
While I would love to point you in the direction of a quick, easy method that could aid in your discovery of Hinduism, I have yet to find any that provide the breadth and accuracy found in the pages of this encyclopedia.Â
If you have any interest in owning your own set, or just in learning more about the story behind the encyclopedia, please visit http://theencyclopediaofhinduism.com/
I made these to put up around my school for my schoolâs GSA. They are quotes from some little known bisexuals about their bisexuality.
Lets stop bisexual erasure and remember, bisexuality is real!
Bisexual erasure is a huge thing, even in the LG community. Letâs raise the awareness!
