Un frammento delle mie membra venne avvolto dall'ombra del mio tormento, lieve si insinuò nelle mie ossa, non s'arrese dinanzi alla siccità del mio spettro, raggiunse il mio respiro e divenne una parte inesplorata del mio intelletto. Tal ombra di consueto vien a fare visita, s'avvicina e mi ammalia, ed io cedo al suo cospetto, come se fossi un fiore che attende la luna per poter sbocciare, per rinascere. Codesto tormento sfiora la mia carnagione, amante del Desio recondito del mio spirito, unico emblema che s'avvicina a me, un tormento che innesca in me ricordi mai vissuti, un tormento che i miei affanni denominano lui, la stella del mattino.
