I have a video game story I want to do, but I feel like I need to put pen to paper first when it comes down to it.

It's a story of like 3 to 8 people. Very saga like. Top down its dystopian in its setting, even though it shares a setting with my dragon Yuri series.

The view points are Ashdaya 4 and Helena 28,678. The numbers means how close they are to purity. The third central character is the strange. Either its Edin 28,677 or 10,000,000,000, who have wildly different impacts on the story itself. A-side B-side. Finish A-side and B-side unlocks, usual stuff.

The actual thing was that the story was of more than these two. There were meant to be multiple epochs one could play in with their own set of characters. But this is like the base of it.

Fighting Anti-Trans legislation in Australia

To date, Australia has been one of the few western nations not to suffer the indignancy of legislation designed to make life for trans people a living hell. In the US, and in the UK, the introduction of laws that have cracked down on the right of existence of trans people, restricted our ability to use public facilities, and made us liable to discrimination and brutality on a scale that has not been seen for eighty years.

This week, in the Australian senate, a private member’s bill was introduced by a member of the Nationals Party. This bill aims to introduce a binary definition of sex, and to exclude transgender Australians from using bathrooms that align with their gender, from competing in gendered sports, and open us up to harassment by excluding us from the protection of the Sex Discrimination Act.

This act has been met so far with a resounding lack of effective defence by our elected officials who would otherwise support us. Labour and our progressive independent parties have been floundering and refusing to take action while right wing fascists like Senator Mikalea Cash have been able to walk right over them by spouting familiar rhetoric like “define a woman” and “biological males are not woman”.

It is vital that we fight back, and that transphobia is not allowed a new footing in yet another nation.

You know what else was invented by women? Masked vigilantes, the precursor to the modern superhero. Baroness Emma Orczy wrote The Scarlet Pimpernel in 1905. The character would later inspire better known masked vigilantes such as Zorro and Batman.

HDG is the reason I have the Hren in my sci-fantasy mech setting. I wanted to take something established and...change it. I dunno, I might be speaking out of my ass, but thought was taking a species known for being the all dominating and putting them in rough equal to other powers of their type with *way worse* political goals than they do. I iterate and iterate and think and think until an idea comes. Is fun.

Unlikely as it is to see work right now while I do work on my large trans epic...thingy, I might try a hand at hdg sometime. It's out of my usual wheelhouse though, so...*shrug*. Mine is usually like high fantasy or near eldritch horror. Or both in the same work, because...I like one off monsters that are way more horrifying than they have any right to be. (Basilisk that brings past and future together as a hunting method while systematically breaking down all sensory input through overload and misdirection as to render the prey near comatose. I was infact inspired by Ultrakill layer 8: Fraud // Part 3: Disintegration Loop.) I have severe problems with sensory input at times that it does actually hurt a lot when I am in, shall we say, highly volatile. Sensory Integration Dysfunction/Disorder or the other name I remember Sensory Processing Disorder/Dysfunction. I cannot remember which one is the old name and which one is the new name. I am also working on a game. If anyone likes that. In fact, the way its set up, I wouldn't mind people joining or chiming in. Several characters to choose as a protagonist, kind of like SaGa. I have like four characters, but they are connected in ways. Ones litterally an egg before and after cracking, the other is WAAAAYYYY DIFFERENT. It involves a woman whose dealing with being disposed for something SHE REALLY had no control over as the protagonist. I am rambling here. None of these are related. But I digress. In between the door dashing I do to live, I do try to write.

Am working deep in writing mines for...a kind of epic? I think its a trans epic in the stone age. Lots of gender, girls loving girls, and fighting authoritarians in a mythical sense. I got girls fighting gods of inverted concepts, girls burning down fantasy sparta and ruining the agoge, girls bringing a people together to take down a corrupt system built to benefit the strong only, and girls inventing techniques for magic.

Lots of girls. and a Lindwurm. A troll too. He's nice. Lots of one off beasts that are fucking Terrifying.
