Do you ever get really sad about little big planet

I should have the disk still but my ps3 fucking fried. When my parents first got it for me I was really young and therefore shit at video games. I don’t think I ever made it past the first level then because the ghost obstacles scared me so bad. I didn’t have a lot of character costumes but I did find out if you go to the spaceship menu you can put decorations on yourself so i covered my character in feathers and tassels and dangly gems

When I came back to the game when I was a bit older I completed the first level for the first time!!!! and finally got to experience the actual game and it was so fun. I was still shit at games (still am) so I don’t think I ever made it past the mechanic level or whatever it was. But then my ps croaked and I never got to finish it. I did start playing LBP 3 at some point but I don’t think it had the quite same charm as the first, too polished. Also I accidentally set the brightness settings on the game all the way up and I never figured out how to fix them so sometimes the game was downright blinding

But yeah I miss little big planet…. This is why I don’t post after 1 am wtf

Oh man this shot fucking kills me

For the first time in her life, this isnt about her, Vriska just wants to save everyone from a doomed timeline because it's the right thing to do, and they're her friends and her family. It isn't about playing the hero anymore, she's finally doing things out of real empathy and a desire to do good for the people she cares about

And what she gets are just the kids

The kids she met for one day, 8 years ago (and only just earlier that same day to them), who all without hesitation agree to abandon their world, and are obviously driven to that because they want to escape from the nightmares that are their parents

Their parents, who were Vriska's actual friends, who she knew and trusted for years and probably looked forward to seeing again every damn day she spent in the Point

And this shot does so much to show just how much it hurts her to see this

8 years unraveling the trauma and pain of her own childhood, how much damage was done to her by her own parental figures - and now it falls to her to rescue another set of kids from her own friends

she finally wants better only to find that it's still so much more fucked up than she knew, and she's ashamed and disappointed and hurt

I love you Harry Anderson, actually I love all the kids but actors gotta stick together. The idea of Terezi interacting with *any* of the omega kids is very hilarious but this specific needs to happen I swear to god (loosely tied to the theory that she becomes their patron). Someone made a post about introducing Dave to Hamilton but what about Terezi??? They’d both be insufferable about it
